As you awoke from your sleep, you found yourself laying in an enchanted area of the

forest.  The troll was out of plain sight, nowhere to be seen.  Vines coiled around birch

trees nearby, embroidering it with newly grown roses.  While plants of all sorts criss-crossed

and arched above you.  Hundreds of fireflies painted the large area, reflecting off a soft glow. 

It all seemed too surreal, too breathtaking that even words could not describe the five second

bliss you were experiencing at this very moment.  Every worry you had was momentarily gone,

it was as if you were in your very own world.  If only time would stop.  If only a beauty like this

did not mean sin.

     The ground underneath you shook profusely.  Your body jolted at the beat of a stampede. 

Trolls.  Hoards of them began to surround you.  I forgot they traveled together...  "Little girl,

I'm back." the monster exclaimed while holding a spiked club in one hand.  "And I brought

friends with me this time." he snickered.  They all howled wildly together.  "I hope you don't

mind, but we have a treat for you.  More like for us, but it doesn't matter."  The trolls tightened

their circle around you as you weakly pushed yourself up from the ground.  You eyed the

monster who you first met and spat on him.  "You're one feisty little girl, aren't you?"  he

teased, wiping off your spit from his damaged face with the back of his hands.  "You're going to

taste good once we start ripping you into shreds." blurted another troll, whose snot was mixing

with the drool that had formed at the corner of his mouth.  Your eyes widened at each and

every troll’s facial expression.  There was no hiding the fact that they were hungry for you,

craving to eat your raw flesh.  And right before your eyes, like Magion had once done, the trolls

turned into savage beasts.

     You sealed your eyes tightly, you had to figure a way out.  Suddenly, you felt a nail groove

deeply into your calf.  Someone had swung their club at you and blood poured endlessly out of

the wound.  You winced in pain and dropped onto one knee.  I have to act fast...  "You

shouldn't mess with me." you whispered.  "What?  We can't hear you little girl." hollered a troll

who then swung his spiked weapon into your fragile back.  You fell forward, now laying on your

stomach and tasting the dirt that had entered your mouth.  A troll then kicked you so that

you'd face them instead of the ground.  The pain was too agonizing.  "DON'T MESS WITH ME!"

you screamed at the top of your lungs, pushing yourself to the edge.  "And why shouldn't we?"

questioned the troll who captured you.  "You just shouldn't.  She has powers that Magion

values and she is his." a huskier voice that belonged to a troll replied.  The trolls were taken

aback by this statement.  Although they too hated Magion they were petrified of him.  None of

them dared lay a hand on something that was precious to him or they would be punished.  "So

if you'll let me... I'll be taking her back to Vameigh now."  They didn't bother to question the

troll's intentions and allowed him to take you away.  He gently slid his arms under your petite

frame and ventured back deeper into the forest.
