"Lace" I say holding up the dress I chose just minutes ago. "See? It's simple, not fancy and suits perfectly well!"

But he's certainly not satisfied, He keeps saying its net. "How would you know if it suits you? I'm the one who can see you a lot more than you see yourself. and I say it's net. lace? It looks like crap on you"

i sigh. Seriously! It has been almost eight years since we met, and we were here picking a dress for myself to attend for his music awards ceremony, but though eight years has passed, we still are the same.

"Ah~really! What is this? Can't I even say what my girlfriend should wear on my big day?"

I shrug.m "Honey...you're a guy...how could you know how girls should wear??"

He picks up the dress that he's been insisting on for me to wear and holds it up close me. "Because only guys could now if their girls look pretty or not..."

I smile slyly. Gosh! This guy is such a sneak. But I know his tricks, I mean, eight years are a lot of time for one to understand her boyfriend perfectly well.

I poke on his arm."Binnie i'm SO not gonna fall for it...besides...oh! Did you just call me not pretty?"

He makes a face. "Of course not! I only meant that NET will bring out all your beautifull features-"

I laugh, seriously? His tricks are never working. "Do you have to do that EVERYTIME we go out for shopping?"

He raises his eyebrows which is simply so adorable. "Eh?"

I wave him off. "Never mind....i pick lace, and that's final"

"But I'm the one who's paying here, I pick net"

I start walking towards the counter. "Can't hear you! I'm paying for myself"

He strides towards me with two steps. "That will be net, if you couldn't hear me before-"

"Nope...lace..."

He shrugs. "Just...why can't we ever agree on anything? this is crap"

I smile and lean over, planting a kiss on his cheek.

"Because that's what which keeps us going..." And I move over to the counter, leaving him there looking like a jerk. That's just how it has always been between us. Either one of us will always embarass oneself because of the others, always end up with a one big mistake, fight almost all the time, and that's how I and Won Bin held onto eachother for this long. I'm sure we'll hold onto each other longer than we already have-

I turn back to Won Bin who's staring at me as if I just slapped him. Maybe I should go with his choice...I mean, this is his big day after all. I return to him and take the dress in his hand. "Maybe I'll do with net..."

He looks at me questioningly. "But...I thought you liked lace?"

I nod. "I do....but this time, I'll take this one....what really matters is looking good for you...it's your big day so..." I go over, hang the lace dress and return to the counter feeling light. Yes, i've done what's right...

As I'm about to pay, Won Bin arrives beside me.

"What?" I ask.

"We'll take them both..." He says, holding out his credit card.

I smile to myself. Seriously? this guy is full of surprises!

"Won Bin~ah!"

He smiles as he takes the bags from the cashier.

"Can't help it....just love you too much..."

But that's nothing close to how we used to be eight years ago...my life....I wasn't the same back then...I wasn't wearing beutiful cloths back then, nor rode in posh vehicles, nor held hands with guys I didn't even deserve...
No...back then....nothing seemed to be close to this...

Believe me......how people could change? you can never predict right?
