Over many years, the human race has struggled with our differences-race, gender, social status. Sooner or later, we have to overcome all of these to realize WE ARE ONE.
While EXO's motto is "We are one!" they're not exactly one. In fact, they are part of a bigger picture.
For every Yang, there's a Yin. For every front of the hand, there's a back of the hand. For a light side of the moon, there is a dark side. Men have sun power, while women must balance it with moon power to make sure Earth is balanced. While EXO is powerful and together they create a circle, there is another one. EXONE.
Yet EXO is in the spotlight, making both the presence of EXONE and EXO is endangered. Will they truly be able to become one? Will the tree of life finally become complete?
The first of EXONE...
Kalyn is a normal school girl in China, loaded with her academic troubles and social life. Life always ebbed at the same pace. The only time she needs to watch out is when she senses something is wrong…
But one day, life breaks rhythm. Her parents are at the hospital, and she is sent to live with her cousin Kris, her closest and most capable relative. Once she is there, Kalyn can’t shake off the feeling that it’s her fault when everything goes wrong, that she must be cursed or insane. Sometimes she feels that Kris’s friends think that too, especially Tao.
Foreword
I don’t know if there’s something wrong with me…but I just know things. I’m not exactly psychic, but my intuition is pretty good. I don’t know exact details, but that feeling crawling up your back is hard to ignore.
I should have known it was going to be bad when my spine shivered not only once, not twice, but four times. That I actually saw something when those shivers went through my spine. And that later something occurred right after my last shiver.
Sometimes I just look up at the sky and wonder what life would be like if fate would have been different. Would my parents have been in less pain? Would I have ever seen the world the way I did now? I used to think I was untouchable, invisible in everyone’s’ eyes except my parents’, my family’s….
At least I remembered to bring Yin Yang-he’s my lucky stuffed panda. I’ve had him since I was four. Even though he’s been through a lot with me, my childish tortures, his fur is still soft and his eyes still gleam in the light. Ever since I started taking him with me when I got those shivers, things weren’t as worse as they could be.
Now if Yin Yang could only help me with my other problems…
Like getting myself into more trouble than I've asked for.
