CHAPTER TWO - GOING TO SCHOOL
OUR LOVE STORY.
Minhye
" Dongsaeng ah, ireona .. " I heard a gentle calling, disturbing my sleep
Aish, CHOI JONGHOON!
" Aish oppa! I wanna sleep ~ " I pulled the covers over my head
" It's already 6.45 AM and you have school at 8! So get up now, please " He kept shaking me
I groaned out loud before sitting up.
" That's my girl! " He my head & brushed off a few strands of hair away from my face
He stood up & offered me his hand, although feeling relunctant, i took his hand and we made our way out, invited by the aromatic fragrance of the freshly done pancakes.
" Ummm! Pancakes! " I inhaled the scent
" Wash up first, girl! " Oppa ordered
I took my uniform in to the batheroom & showered. After 30 minutes, i came out and saw that all of them were waiting for me to eat my breakfast.
" Hehe mian! Let's eat " I smiled
- 7.30 AM -
" Let's go! " Everyone was ready
Jaejin oppa, seunghyun & minhwan as well as myself were studying in the same school. & oh, allow me to introduce myself to prevent misunderstandings. As you guys had already know, my name is choi minhye & choi jonghoon is my brother. Yes, the awesome leader of FT island is my blood brother.
Since young, he's taken care of me, taking the umma and the appa role. But i was never short of either one's love since he's good at being their roles. He'll tuck me in bed, sang me lullabies and did things that both umma and appa will do.
Ever since he became part of FT island, i knew the rest of the members and all of them treated me as their own. Well, all of us were practically like family.
Soon, we reached our destination. The four of us got off while the two older ones drove off to probably find heechul oppa or their pyscho group that they created.
" Heys, you guys go ahead first " I told them when i spotted a familiar looking girl holding a map, turning around in circles.
Ahh! she's the girl from yesterday, so she's from our school too.
" Hello Nara! " I waved
She looked shocked yet happy at the same time.
" Oh? Hello Minhye! You study here too? " She asked
" Yuppie! I'm guessing you're lost? " I chuckled
She mumbled a yes, i took the timetable from her and take a look.
" Ah daebak! We're gonna be classmates from now on! " The both of us cheered, holding each other's hands bouncing up and down like two crazy girls
Before i knew it, the bell rang and we had to rush to class.
" Kwon songsaengnim, she's new " I introduced her to our teacher, kwon jiyong.
" Oh? Invite her in! " He looked through his books and nodded excessively
" Ah! So you're Lee Nara from singapore right ? " He smiled
All Nara did was nod. She had to give a short introduction before she was allowed to go to her seat, which apparently beside mine at the back of the class.
" He's really nice, don't worry! " I smiled
Soon, it was time for lunchbreak. Seunghyun & Minhwan from different classes from mine.
" Babe, let's go for lunch! " I informed
She nodded.
" I'll introduce you to my friends. But just don't be too shock! " I laughed
" Haha will try not to then " The both of us linked our arms as though we're best friends from childhood
At the short walkway, we've gotten to know each other pretty well, taking in details like birthdays, and all those minor details. We're standing infront of the ' special room ' that FT island members and i were always having our lunch at. The room was out-of-bounce to people except for me since the principal knows my status.
" Nara, wait here first alright ? " I smiled
She nodded and i went in to let the three know what is going on.
" Hello! " The three called out
" Erm .. Jaejin oppa, seunghyun & minhwan .. i've got something to tell you guys. I brought a friend here, but she's really nice & i was hoping that you guys wouldn't mind " I bit my lips, shuffling my leg back and fourth, the habit that i always had
The three of them looked at each other. The gazes they shared tells me that they had to agree or else i'll bug them till there's no end, which is true. Well, sometimes.
" Well, if she's not a fangirl or anything .. i suppose you may " Jaejin oppa smiled with the two nodding their head
I walked towards the door and gestured for her to come in, she was pretty confused at first but slowly made her way in. The guys looked at her and made space for her to seat down.
Seunghyun
As she made her way in, my eyes widened feeling my jaw dropping down. My heart fluttered a little and my stomache felt like having thousands of butterlies flying around. But what is that feeling ?
" Erm hello, my name is nara. Nice to meet you! " She bowed a little, smiling widely
" Hello, i'm jaejin ... he's minhwan and he's seunghyun " Jaejin hyung introduced us, pointing at each one of us
She smiled as she did a little wave at us. During the mini introduction, minhye had already prepared the bentos that we always got.
" Oh , i forgot to get hers before coming in " The muddlehead minhye splurt
" Er, it's alright .. i'm not hungry anyways " She smiled
I stood up and went to seat beside her.
" Take mine, i've eaten this morning " I smiled as i shoved her the bento
She declined it but after several tries, she gave up and accepted the bento. I watched her eat as she ate it with her now-became signature smile.
We ate as we chatted normally. But ... what? Normally? I had just realised that she hasn't been screaming or squealing like a normal fangirl does. Aint she suppose to do that?
" Er ... " Came out from my mouth
She looked at me, with everyone else looking too. , what the hell i did that for? I was looking at her then at everyone.
" Can i ask you a question? " Minhwan spoke, directing it to Nara
" Sure! " She smiled widely as she nodded
" Don't you know who are we? " Minhye, jaejin hyung and i gasped as the maknae asked this incredulous question. But then again, it was the question that i wanted to ask in the first place.
" Sure i do ! You're minhwan, jaejin and seunghyun " She pointed to us
" And ...? " Minhwan continued
She thought for a moment before shaking her head.
" Was i suppose to know you guys before this? " She bit her lips, feeling guilty
" Not really. But it's always better to. " Minhwan spoke with a little divaness in it
Jaejin hyung whacked minhwan 's arms lightly as a sign of respect. She turned to minhye, asking for help with her facial expression. I can't help but to chuckle at her reaction, taking the maknae's words so seriously.
" Alright. Since minhwan's at it, might as well confess guys! Do you know FT island? " Minhye asked
She shook her head. Oh, so we aren't popular in singapore?
" Do you know SHINee, super junior and Beast ? " She continued
" Yeah, they are quite popular in singapore. Oh! Now i remember, i have a friend that likes FT island alot in singapore. But i'm not really into kpop so i guess i don't. "
All of the sudden, her eyes widened as she examined the three of us carefully.
" YOU GUYS ARE FT ISLAND MEMBERS!! " She half shouted with shock
" Calm down babe! Yeah .. & actually, the guy from yesterday wasn't Jongwoon. His name is Jonghoon and he's my brother. Speaking of him, you'll be able to meet him later since he'll be coming to pick us up. " Minhye smiled
Nara nodded, feeling somewhat confused.
" Now that explains the hoard of girls standing outside ... " Nara said
" Er yeah, it always happen. "
- After school -
Right after lunch, we informed jonghoon & hongki hyung about the matter. Jonghoon oppa wasn't exactly pleased with that but since the majority was fine with it, he agreed to show himself, and even offered to give her a ride home.
" Are you sure it's okay? " Nara asked worriedly
" Of course! " The rest agreed
" Don't worry, he's very nice as well as hongki oppa too .. " Minhye grinned
As we approached the school gate, we separated ourselves. The girls walked away infront first we were surrounded by the hoard of fangirls, asking for fanservices and all. It was tiring, but still we obliged. Manager hyung said that it really will be good if nobody knows the relationship between minhye and us since he said that people might misunderstood and all.
So, we acted as if we're just schoolmates and friends.
After10 mins of the obligations and seeing that they are very far away, we bowed and thanked them and sloly made our way to the car that was parked miles and miles away.
" Hello hyungs " The three of us greeted
Minhye was sitting with hongki hyung, leaving nara sitting alone behind. Aish, seriously this girl is one big meanie.
" Hyunnie, sit with nara! Take care of her " She glared
I felt my heartbeat raced a little faster as i sat beside her. She smiled weakly before looking down her lap. Is she shy?
" So have you talked to the two hyungs? " I started a conversation
" Er yeah. They are really friendly ! " She chuckled abit
The journey started with the both of us chatting and laughing to the most random-nest stuff. I felt like i've known her for a very long time.
" Nara! Have you told jonghoon oppa your address !? " Minhye suddenly shouted, panicking
Aish, this bestfriend of mine is seriously a muddlehead.
" Yeah, while you were talking with hongki oppa " Nara informed
Minhye nodded and turned her head around, the whole vehicle was laughing at her blurness. Soon, jonghoon arrived to the destination safely.
" Thankyou oppas, thanks minhye. See you tomorrow! " Nara bowed and left the building
