Bang GyongBae is a 23 year old painter who works for her father's furniture business is Incheon. She paints wonderful artworks that are mostly displayed in wealthy families home, in art exhibits in the heart of Seoul, and some of her great paintings are even shipped overseas to be bought by art collectors and willing business men.

Though she's a successful painter, GyongBae isn't happy. Her mother is sick and her father is always at work. In short, life has always been dark for her since her mother became ill, and the only reason why she smiles is when she paints. Whenever she paints, her soul leaves the world of reality and takes flight to her own world made from her imagination. In her fictional world everything is perfect, however, her happiness didn't last. Her father's business become bankrupt, thus, she looses everything along with it.

Her mother died two months after the bankruptcy because they can no longer afford her medical treatments, and so she blames everything to her father. When they started anew after her mother's death, GyongBae is never the same person. But then, she met him. And after meeting him, the colors in her life wasn't so dark anymore.
