Lies
Description
A lie is a dangerous thing, digging its claws deep into one’s psyche and clinging, taking over every thought until the affected has nowhere to run to, nowhere to hide—unless they can finally say what needs to be said, and be free.

This is the sequel to "If I Run Fast Enough". While you don't necessarily have to read it first to understand this, it would be better if you did.
Foreword
Everything was a lie, from the first words we exchanged, until the first and only kiss we shared. I didn’t mean to hurt you—I hadn’t until that moment realized everything had been a mere fabrication; that nothing had been real to begin with.
That I would be the one to ruin everything.
