" Vacation is officialy over. It's back to reality" Kaoru thought as she fasten her seatbelt.

"Thailand was awesome! I can't believe it's over. I wish our vacation gets extended" Dan sighed.

"hnnn" Kaoru laid her head back and closed her eyes. She nods her head as she finds herself agreeing to Dan.

"Where should we go for our next vacation? I want to go somewere tropical again" Kaoru just nod her head as she tried to get some sleep but Dan kept going on and on enumerating tropical getaways.

" We could go to Fiji or Bora Bora" Dan said excitedly.

"Too expens" Kauro yawned "--sive"

'Dan just shut up you're giving me a headache'  Kaoru thought, but Dan still went on.

"We can ask Ojiisan to fund our expenses" Dan said excitedly, while laughing.  Kauro's eyes shot open.  She glared at Dan then she just sighed.

"Learn how to be independent."

'Don't trust him too much.' was what Kaoru really wanted to say.  That old coot can't be trusted, but Dan doesn't need to know how twisted their grandfather really is. He wants something in return in exchange for favors. He might be rich, he might be the head of the family, and the only living relative they have, but Kaoru doesn't really trust him. He was the one who even taught Kaoru not to put too much trust on anyone be it family or friends. Humans are humans, we are all full of flaws. 

"Remember how your parents and Dan's parents died Kaoru" That old geezer's voice is resounding in her head.

"I am independent!" Dan argued.

"Yes you are" Kaoru replied lazily and closed her eyes. Dan can be stubborn sometimes, and the only way to avoid an argument is to agree.

Dan frowned and shift her gaze out the window. She knows Kaoru was being sarcastic, but she chose to just drop the argument and let her rest. She must be realy tired.

Meanwhile, in the bussines class section of the same plane. Kris, the respected leader, reminded his group to put all their apple devices to airplane mode. Kris always keeps Exo in order. Suho is also a leader, but everyone usually looks up to Kris including Suho. But as for Kai, however, he is different. He himself knows that He is President Soo Man's favorite. He tends to be out of Kris' control sometimes, but this time he obeyed without any argument.

All of the Exo members shut their eyes close to get some sleep knowing that they have a full schedule once they get back to Seoul, except for Se Hun and Lu Han who were talking excitedly in Korean about the concert that took place in Bangkok two days ago.

"The Concert was awethome!" Se Hun said. His cheeks reddened, and he looked around to see if anyone heard it. He has an inferiority complex with his Lisp.

"I meant awessssssssssome" He corrected himself. Lu Han just smiled.

"Awesome. Awwwee Some, Awesome" Se Hun praticed saying the same word.

"You're making an improvement" Lu Han complimented.

"Thanks!" Se Hun replied with a smile but I still have a long way to go.

"Did you talk to President Soo Man about taking sessions with a speech therapist?" Lu Han asked.

"Yes, He said that I don't need it 'coz it turned out that the international fans like my lisp." Se Hun scowled.

"Your Lisp is your charming point?! Hahahahaha" Lu Han laughed.

"I just hope I won't get an interview asking me about how my lisp is my charming point. I wouldn't know what to say, I'll die of embarassment " Se Hun's cheeks turned pink again as he went on and on about possible situations where his embarassing "charming point" gets pointed out and how he doesn't want to be put in the spot.

Lu Han and Se hun continued to talk about Se hun's Lisp and some random stuff about who's the best Gundam pilot ever and the best Gundam robot model. They bickered, they argued, and they reach a full agreement that they are in favor of Hero Yuy and the Gundam Unicorn when suddenly the plane started having air pockets.

"Lu Han I'm scared" Se Hun whispered.

"Don't be. it will be over pretty so---" Lu Han was cut off as the turbulent got stronger. The plane speaker went on. Se Hun and Lu Han stared at each other and then they switched their gazes to Kris. The sleeping Exo members are up now and everyone had worried looks on their face as they look at Kris hoping that maybe somehow their Kris-gege will perform a miracle to stop the turbulence. Kris attempted to stay calm and listened on the pilot's voice on the plane speaker.

"Don't Panic. We're losing altitude. Brace yourself and get ready, Leave your belongings. I will attempt to land this plane over water"

Hearing this everyone went silent as they took in the shock.

"This can't be happening" D.O whispered with his owl like eyes on full moon mode.

Baek Hyun just had to stand up and open his overhead compartment to look for something and the luggage spilled out.

"Yah!" Kai shouted at Baek Hyun "What do you think you're doing?! Are you crazy?! What part of leave your belongings behind don't you understand?!"

Baek Hyun ignored Kai as he took out his backpack and searched for somethin. Suho who was seating near Baek Hyun stood up and close the overhead compartment. "Baek Hyun, return to your seat please and fasten your seatbelt." Suho said as he tried to calm his trembling voice. "Baek Hyun" Kris warned. This shook Baek Hyun from his dazed look and went back to his seat as he finally found what he was looking for.

What a mess. Tao was crying as he hugged their manager who was seating right next to him. Lay was mumbling saying stuff about how he won't survive the crash, and even if he does, he'll die of hemorrhage if he gets an open wound. Baek Hyun was clutching a small black bag that looks oddly like a make-up bag to his chest. Lu Han was comforting Se Hun. Kai was silent, trying hard to look calm like their leader Kris, but the sweat on his forehead is giving it away, He was trembling. He's never been this scared in his whole life. Suho was comforting Chen who was trembling. Xiu Min was saying his goodbyes to Chan Yeol "Dude if you survived, please tell my mom that I love her very much". The Optimistic Chan Yeol shook his head patheticly "Don't say that, We'll get out of this alive" but his voiced betrayed him. D.O just stared at particularly nothing with his full beam flashlight eyes as if he's having a silent seizure or something. One of their manager attempted to shake D.O out of his stupor and instruct him to brace himself for the landing.

In the Economy section of the plane was total chaos. Kids were crying some ladies were screaming. Flght attendants were trying their best to calm everyone but to no effect.

Kaoru was silent and determined as she pulled a small pack with basic necessities in it and gave it to Dan. Dan was scared, but Kaoru voice called her back to reality. "Dan! here take this" Dan accepted the pack removed her jacket with only her tank top on and strapped the pack around her person, she hid the pack wth her sweatshirt.

"If we get separated into different life boats, don't trust anyone, okay, if ever you get access to civilization ask help from the locals." Kaoru explained while getting herself ready. "Get yourself to the nearest American embassy and ask them to help you get back to New York. Do not look for me. Ojiisan will contact you as soon as you step foot on American soil. Don't trust Ojiisan too much. He's sly. He knows that we are his responsibility so he will offer financial assistance. Take it but if it involves shipping you back to Japan..." Kaoru looked straight into Dan's eyes "Don't accept it. Japan is off limits. It's Ojiisan's domain." I have some cash stashed in the apartment. you know the code. Use it wisely." Kaoru hugged Dan and kissed her forehead.

"You'll be fine. I'll come and find you" Kaoru stared at Dan. She was worried but part of her know that Dan is smart. She'll get by. Dan was tearing up but she blink her tears away as she muster up her courage to put a determined look on her face to keep her Kaoru-nee from worrying.

Dan took a deep breath and let the air out thru . She faced Kaoru and nod her head " I'll survive, Good luck to us" Dan said coolly as she prepared to brace for the impact.

Kaoru smiled and felt proud as she thought 'We might come from an ill reputed family but I will never regret that we're of the same bloodline, Dan'
