Surprise 

 

There was only three more days till your college started again . Suddenly you heard a song on the radio and recalled L.Joe playing a cover did by another group during your project meeting . 

* That was a really good and flawless cover . What was that bands name again ? * You thought and thought trying to recall the bands name .

* Im hopeless at this . I probably would try to figure out and not get it till im old * You gave up and decided to text L.Joe to ask for the bands name .

- Heyyy . Remember that band you introduced to me during our project meeting last time ? What was their band called again ? - You texted him .

- Hey ____ ! Uh they are called Walk Off The Earth . - He replied . 

- OH RIGHT ! Thank you ! I'll go search them up :D - You replied back . 

- WAIT . Have you watched Hunger games in the cinemas yet ? Its almost gone ! - He suddenly asked .

- No actually i havent .. I've been really lifeless at home . ' - You replied .

- Wanna go watch together ? - He asked .

You got pretty taken aback by his sudden invitation . * Maybe he needs a friend to talk to * 

- Uhhh sure . Since everyone has watched  it already - You agreed .

- Nice ! It's a date . I'll pick you up tomorrow at 5 ! :) - He said , excited .

- Date ? O_O - You asked .

- Yes ____ . Date . I'll see you tomorrow :) - He replied .

- Uhhh . Ummm okay .. - You answered .

* Thats ... weird . *

 

[ Next day ] 

You were preparing for the date . Somehow you feel very nervous . 

' JI- EUN AH . I DONT KNOW WHAT TO WEAR . AGAIN ! ' you shouted over skype . Its like a normal routine to skype with Ji-Eun every now and then .

' Yah . I know you think L.Joe is cute . But i dont think its necessary to impress him too much . After all , its going to be dark . ' IU suggested .

' I KNOW . I'm still human ! ' You protested . ' Does this look good ? ' You asked . 

' Yeah ! You look perfect ! ' She chirped , like a proud momma . 

' _____ AHH ! ' Your mom called . ' Your friend is here ! ' 

' Thats probably him ! Love you ! Gotta go ! ' You said to IU and ended the call .

' Bye mom ' You said while kissing her cheek .

' Dont be too late kay ? ' She calmly said . 

' Yes mom i wont ! ' You said while walking out of the house .

* Hyundai Sonata . I see . Nice car ! * You thought to yourself .

' Hey ____ ! How are you ? ' L.Joe asked as you stepped into the car . 

' Hey L.Joe ! Everythings been fine . Been boring . Nothing much to do around here . ' You said , while recalling what you did during your holidays . 

' Thats a pity . We should have hung out earlier . Ive been reeally bored too ! ' He said .

' Haha . We never thought of calling each other i suppose . ' You answered , laughing . 

* He has a sense of style . He looks so charming today * Your heart beat . * OH i should stop staring * 

' Like my shirt ? ' He asked , grinning .

' Huh , oh uhhhh yeahhh . Looks good on you ' You complimented , shy . 

' You look really pretty in that dress too if i can say so myself . ' He complimented back .

' Oh why thank you ! ' You said , blushing .

' Hahaha _____ , You're so cute . ' L.Joe said while looking at you .

' Yah drive , keep  your eyes on the road ! ' You snapped back . 

L.Joe just sat there smirking . * Gosh he is so cute . *  

You guys ended up chatting a lot on the way to the mall .
