They met at a party. He captivated her.

He made her smile. But she kept her own secrets.

He eventually found out. So she ran.

She sped down the road to recovery. They were happy.   

Soon the troubles flew in, one after the other. Relapse.

This type of foreword is going to be slightly different. Instead of throwing a paragraph from chapter one that you're just going to read again, I've decided to keep most things a secret until I post the actual chapter. Each chapter I post, I will also update the foreword, adding one or two more lines hinting to what happens in the next chapter. Eventually, at the end, you'll get a complete summary, made of simple sentences, of the whole fic.

This fic was originally written for the ~* You Belong With Me *~  writing contest. Prompts used from the contest were: Song lyric 5. " Don't ever give up! You lonesome flower. " Ichirin no Hana by HIGH and MIGHTY Colour (Bleach), and Song 5. Dead at Heart by Super Junior.

However, my other inspiration for this fic came from SNSD's Time Machine Japanese music video, Sooyoung's scenes. I am planning on writing 9 other fics based on this video, one for each SNSD member's part in the video, and then one more including them all. If you'd like to hear more about this Time Machine project of mine, don't be afraid to friend or private message me. I love talking to other people online, especially about my ideas.

One more thing: I have not had any personal experiences with alcoholism, nor know anyone who has severely suffered from it. I would like to apologize if my portrayal of this offends anyone, especially if my assumptions about its effects are incorrect.
