It all started with our Umma`s Bet!

"eun hee, wake up" someone called and shook me violently, i opened one eye to see ljoe smiling while shooking me
"stop it" i said but he still shook me, i`m so going to kill him if he won`t stop
"i won`t unless you wake up" he said and he shook me faster
"ALRIGHT!" i stood up and looked down on him while he just smiled and pointed someone or somebody behind me
"eun hee, is there a problem dear?" i heard my umma`s voice so i fake a smile and faced her
"aniyo, you know my attitude when i just woke up" i said sweetly
"Oh arasso, well, let`s have dinner now my dears" she said and ljoe stood up and pushed me to follow my umma
"imma kill you later you jerk" i said in english, oh i would love to see his dumbfounded face and then i succeed
"w-what?" he asked looking confuse
"aniyo, nothing, i said, let`s eat" i said and mentally laugh evilly
"ah okay" he said and we entered the dining room and sat down, ljoe sat down next to me by the way
"so dears, did you have a good time when we left?" his umma asked then both of us looked at each other and i`m pretty sure the embarrassing incident flashed our minds, i saw him smirk before i look away. damn, i need to keep my cool, breathe in, breathe out
"yah, eun hee" ljoe poked me and i looked at him
"w-what?" i asked
"i was telling umma about that wonderful movie we watched earlier, what was the title?" he asked
"Oh, hmm, I, hmm" i said and honestly we both don`t know since we were both pigging out and sleeping *facepalm*
"Oh, never mind and as we can see, both of you were comfortable with each other earlier when we came home" my umma said and i choked on my food, i was coughing like crazy
"aish, careless girl, here" ljoe said and offered me a water and i immidiately chug it down my throat
"here, wipe your mouth, tch. i girl like you eat so much" ljoe said as he handed me a tissue and when i grab it, i purposely squeezed his hand
"thanks, ljoe, you`re .. sweet" i said and smiled fakely at him as i wipe my mouth
"don`t mention it" he said and smiled fakely then we notice our ummas looking at us like we`re some characters in some romantic movie *shivers*
"Hmm, umma, you were saying?" ljoe said and cleared his throat
"Oh, yeah, it`s just that you seemed cozy with each other" his umma said
"Oh yeah, me and eun hee became real close and actually, we`re best friend. right eun hee?" ljoe said as he kicked my feet hard
"Oh of course, how can not i have a GOOD and CARING bestfriend like you?" i asked as i pinched his cheeks, hard, ha! take that
"Oh we`re so happy for both of you" his umma said and we look at her
"neh?" we both said and both of them giggled
"it`s because both of you are repeating our friendship history" my umma said, blech, so cheesy umma~!
"Ahh, is that so?" i said and they nodded
"well that`s good" ljoe said and we continued to eat
"did i already told you that both of you were playmates before?" my umma asked
"bwoh? really?" i asked as i look at ljoe and back to my umma
"Hmm, both of you were so close" his umma said and clasped her hands together
"how old were we before?" ljoe asked
"Hmm, about 1 yr old until they left for LA" his umma said
"aigoo, i still remember those wonderful times" my umma said and there goes her cheesiness again *sighs*
"well, i have an album of both of your childhoos photos~" his umma said
"really?" i asked and she nodded
"how come, i didn`t know about that album umma?" ljoe asked
"well, i kept it hidden until both of you see each other again" his umma said and both of us laugh fakely
"waaah~ the dinner tonight was delicious ummas" i exclaimed
"Aigoo, thank you" my umma said
"go wait in the living room, arasso?" his umma said
"neh~" both of us said and went to the living room and sat down and watched some shows
"yah~" i poke him
"what?" he asked not taking off his eyes from the television
"tch, never mind" i said and pouted as i crossed my arms
"what?" he asked as he lazily look at me
"you sure have a bipolar disorder" i mumbled
"do you really think we were playmates before?" i asked
"well, it`s possible since our umma`s were bestfriends and hey, do you think my umma is lying?" he asked
"ani, it`s just that we were close before" i said
"we were young before and have no idea what were doing" he said
"tch, bad boy" i said and rolled my eyes
"Okaaay~ here`s the album~" his umma said in a sing-song voice and sat on the couch beside with my umma
"here`s my hidden album of both of you" his umma said
"i have one but i left it in LA" my umma said and we just smiled
"Now, let`s see photos of ljoe" his umma said and opened the album revealing ljoe`s baby picture
"aigoo, i still remember this photo" his umma laugh as she pointed his cute photo
"Oh, what happened?" ljoe asked as he look at his photo
"Well, i told you to eat veggies but you refused then i told you that you won`t see eun hee if you won`t eat your veggies so you made that face and ate it anyway" his umma laugh
"wait, what do you mean? i mean you said we were playmates when we were 1 yr old, but on the photo, ljoe look like 5 yrs old" i said
"Yeah" ljoe added
"Well, when you were five years old, i needed to take care of something here in korea so we stayed here in their house the whole summer" my umma said
"aigoo, look at eun hee, she was so playful and so cute and pretty~" his umma exclaimed as she showed us my photo
"Aigoo, embarrassing" i said as i tried to cover but ljoe stopped me
"Aniyo, you`re cute here" he said
"what? Noooooo" i shook my head
"yes you are" he said
"No~!" i counter fired
"look at this photo kids" my umma said and showed us a photo of us two
"is that me and .. ljoe?" i asked as i looked at the photo
"Yep. aigoo, i still remember how ljoe would smile and have fun with you but when you left, he`s all grumpy and whatsoever" his umma said and i looked at ljoe raising my eyebrow
"What? i was young before" he said
"mehrong" i said and stuck out my tongue
"Look, byunghun held your hand dear" my umma said and pointed our hands
"Oh, yeaaah" i said then ljoe suddenly flip the page
"yah! you- oh, isn`t this us and so-so hwan?" i asked trying to remember her name
"it`s so hyun" ljoe said
"oh yeah" i said and examined the photo
(A/N: let`s just pretend that lauren, the one with braided hair, is kwon so hyun of 4 minute when she was young okay? XD)
"how come you still remembered her?" i asked
"Oh, she`s my classmate at school" he said
"Oh speaking of school, ljoe can you go with her tomorrow?" his umma asked
"why?" both of us asked
"because you`ll start studying there dear" my umma said and it`s like heaven dropped on me
"w-what? but what about LA?" i asked
"oh, i already send them a letter about you transferring here" she said
"b-but my friends" i said
"you can call or skype or whatsoever them dear" she said
"oh okay" i sigh
"well, that`s all for today, it`s late. Go sleep" his umma said
"Oh, okay" we said and bid them goodnight as we climbed to his room
"i`ll wash my face first" i said
"Oh, okay" he said and went to his computer, i found my small bag and opened it and found a pouch where my facial wash and etc is being kept
"so cold" i shudder as i wash my face
"one dot, two dots, three dots and my face have polka dots~" i said in a sing-song voice that i invented
"there" i said as i finish washing my face, i went out and i saw ljoe hovering on his computer
"yo, what you doin?" i asked as i peeked
"making a project" he said and i saw some graphs and etc
"about what?" i asked
"about science" he said
"Hmm, atoms?" i asked
"yeah" he said
"Well, can i help?" i asked
"No, you can rest, we`ll be early tomorrow" he said
"Oh okay" i said and yawn as i settled on the bed facing the window, i tried to sleep but i can`t
"it`s already 11 but he`s still doing that project" i said then i noticed he fell asleep on his desk with his hands still on the keyboard
"aigoo" i exclaimed as i went to him and peeked then i realize it was about atoms and this was our past lesson so i pushed his chair aside and took over the computer and finished his project for him
"There, done" i said and i look at him leaning on the desk
"he`s gonna have a stiff neck and an aching back if he`ll stay like that" i said to myself so i gather all the strength i could muster and i put his arm over my shoulder and help him up like what you do to your drunk friend, i do this a lot in LA when we have parties though, my friends loooooove partying and getting drunk. so back to this tired jerk
"so heavy" i exclaimed as i tried to drag him to bed but i lost balance and fell on the ground with him on top of me
"Ouch!" i exclaimed
"so .. heavy~" i whined as i tried to push him off but then he opened his eyes and smirked
"y-yah! get off me you jerk!" i exclaimed while he just laugh
"you brought me to this position" he said
"well, i was such a kind hearted and good and caring best friend of yours to put you to bed after you fell asleep, jerk" i said
"Oh , my project" he said as he widen his eyes as he ran towards his computer while i stood up and jump to bed
"yah~! why`d you turned it off?" he asked angrily
"opps" i said and giggle as i hide under the blanket and i swear i heard him cursed
-LJOE POV-
"I`m going to kill you if my project`s gone- woah, you finished it for me?" i asked as i look at her but i noticed she fell asleep
"aigoo, this girl`s too .. kind" i said and chuckled as i turned it off and went to bed but i was on the over edge of the bed but before i fell asleep i look at her sleeping soundly
"Tch, if only you`re attitude is just like your face when you`re sleeping" i said and smiled as i doze off ..
