Amoeba Culture to debut a Hip Hop girl group.

Amoeba Culture home to Koreans Hip-Hop artists such as DynamicDuo, Supreme Team, Primary , and 공CD, recently announced to debut a hip hop girl group, Above The Line, soon. This was one of shocking news to netizen since Amoeba Culture is only focused on Hip Hop solo or duo.

There are still no clue or hint about the members. So far, no teaser video or pictures about the group also. Only a blurry picture of them the company put on to the company's website last night. According to one of Supreme Team’s interview, the group is casted and also mentored by Simon D and E-Sens them self. They rumored to be a four members group. Simon D also said that each of them has great talent of dance, singing, and of course rapping. He also mentioned that they are an “International group”, its either there will be some foreign member or overseas member. “It’s time for us to present something new and fresh to everyone.”

“Yeah and something fresh in the office cause we’re honestly sick to see same old men in the office everyday.” E-Sens said in the interview. Both of them said the company is very proud by the girl’s improvement for the past two years and very confident to debut them soon. Despite their short trainee, they are no new to this industry so who’s excited for their debut?

Three years ago.

(Supreme Team is officially debuted in 2009 but they were already famous in underground scene since 2007. Even before they officially debuted they were already planned to work on this.)

In Amoeba Culture Office. While waiting for his turn to record his part on Supreme Team first album, E-Sens boringly kept changing the tv channels in the entertainment room. Nothing seemed to be interesting enough for him to watch. That happened to his band mate too. Ssam D came in with his I-lost-my-interest-in-everything face. He came sit next to E-Sens sighing his boredom out. “What’s up with you?” E-Sens glanced at him still abusing the TV remote. “Its just.. its so boring here. I need refreshment, new inspiration. Something fresh and exciting.”

“Like what? Cold beer?” Ssam D slapped his best friend’s head. “Yaa… that’s not what I meant. I want to work with something new. I mean beside our new album which going to be awesomely good but you know..” to his surprise, E-Sens nodded his head wildly. “Me too me too I was thinking about that too.” it was a sign to them when the tv stopped on one music channel showing Girl Groups music videos. They looked at each other, seemed to know what each other were thinking that moment. “Girl group!”

The whole day they spent to talk about their plan of forming a girl group. It was something really new for them as an artist becoming a mentor and for their entertainment also for train and to debut a girl group. The clock told them that it was almost morning but that didn’t stop them. Even if they didn’t get to sleep, they called their seniors, The CEOs for a meeting right away.

After they listened to Ssam D and E-Sens’s explanation about their plan, the two CEO’s, Choiza and Geiko (DynamicDuo) looked at each other in excitement. Yes, it was a right time to make a change and try something new for their company. “So what are you guys planning to do now?” Geiko asked. “Are we going to open an audition?” Choiza added. E-Sens shook his head. “We’re planning to find them our self. We want that special person with not only talent but also their knowledge about music and familiarity to perform on stage.”

“So you want someone professional?” Ssam D nodded. “Of course hyung. There’s no need to train them for years right? Like us, life trained us and you guys are our guidance.” The two CEOs laughed. “Ya.. Simon since when you know how to flatter your hyungs?” everyone in the meeting room laughed. “Oh and most importantly, we really want to recruit some from overseas. It’ll be very interesting to gather different cultures together.”

“Hyung you must see this!” E-Sens nudged Simon D who was sitting behind him in their office. “Wae wae wae?” he lazily rolled his chair next to E-Sens. “I went to the coffee shop this morning and these bunch of guys were watching this video. They said it’s a Korean-Australian girl who lives overseas.” He clicked the play button.

“O!”

“What is it?” E-Sens asked. “I know that man!”

“Wh---“ both of them stopped when they heard her voice. They both stoned watching her sing. Her voice is so powerful and she seemed to know about singing techniques. They could feel her passion and love for music from the way she closed her eyes and play with her voice. They even ignored the fact that the person who played the guitar is one of the legendary indie musicians in their teens. “Whaa she got talent.” Simon said. E-Sens clicked her youtube channel and scrolled to find any interesting video. “Look look at this hyung! She can dance too!” E-Sens excitingly clicked the play button.

“Wow.” The only word that came out of their mouth. Ssam D took the mouse and scrolled it down to find anything more. She uploaded lots of videos. They watched it one by one. There were few videos of her playing music instruments like guitar, keyboards and drums. She also covered few Korean songs. There were videos of her in different places, she traveled a lot they thought. And the fact that she was also used to perform on stage according to the videos, its like they fell in love for the first time at her talent. After they finished watching all of her videos for about two hours, they looked at each other and smiled, “This is a great time to start a new project.” E-Sens said. “I smell success.” Simon smirked. Without any doubt they quickly wrote an email and sent it to her.

DynamicDuo and Supreme Team were invited to perform in one of top art school in Canada. The two teams stayed in the same hotel. They were happy cause they can really enjoy their trip since not many people know about it. It was just like vacation to them. Choiza came to the coffee shop on the first floor of the hotel. The found E-Sens sat alone on one of the table there. He came to him after he got his coffee. “Minho-ya.. what are you doing here?” E-Sens looked up and grinned. “Hyung! No I’m just checking for the girl's reply.”

“Eh? Which girl? YA KANG MINHO! ARE YOU DATING SOMEONE WITHOUT TELLING ME?!” he chocked on his coffee and laughed. “Hyung.. chill out! I’m waiting for the girl I told you about, the one we found on youtube..” Choiza sighed in relief. “So? Did she say anything?”

“Yes she said she's really interested and even asked me if I sent the email to the wrong address. She’s currently discussing it with her parents so.. lets just pray for the best.” Choiza pated E-Sens’s back. “So proud of you bro!” they chuckled. “Anyway I had a good feeling bout our performance later.” Choiza said. “Waeyo?” E-Sens got back to his laptop while listening to Choiza. “Maybe we could find someone there. Cause they said its one of prestigious art school here.” E-Sens nodded. “Lets just hope so.”

After Supreme Team performed on stage. It was a special stage the school presented to them. Both of the team stood up and bow for respect. They showed videos of their student’s talent. They picked 10 most talented students there. “And this one, currently back to Korea to joined SM Entertainment.” The teacher said. “Uuuuuu…” E-Sens and Ssam D said. There were two people dancing and rapping on screen. They were amazed by the two of them especially the girl. She looked flawless and full of swag on the same time. “Unfortunately only the guy, Kris, got into SM.” One of the teachers who sat beside Gaeko said. “What?!! I thought the girl who got in!” Ssam D said. “Sir can you introduce us to her?” Ssam D asked. “Her class was on a trip to USA, sorry. I can give you her audition cds and her number and address if you want to.” Ssam D and E-Sens lightened up. “That’ll be great!”

“When will she come back?” Choiza asked. “On Thursday.” E-Sens and Ssam-D gave their pleading eyes to Choiza and Geiko. “Fine.. I guess extended one day wont hurt.”

“Woww! Look hyung! See... she’s worth to wait!” Ssam D said as the two team watched her videos.

“Young Yoon Mirae….” They amazed by her rapping style. They couldn’t even believe SM wasted such talent.

Five month after they trained the two first girls. They didn’t stop their search of that special girl to complete their dream team.

Ssam D came into the Cube Entertainment to talk about his joined stage with Beast for the award special stage. They held a meeting for about two hours, talking about the concept, the songs, the stage and everything. It was already noon when he came out of the meeting room. “Hyung.. I heard you’re going to debut a girl group.” Doojun said. “What what? Where did you hear that?” Doojun chuckled. “Well well lets just say I have a friend of a friend that saw two girls came in and out your office everyday.”

“Nahh… maybe you mistaken them to our new dancers. You’ll see girls on Supreme Team’s next single.”

“Psstf yeah right…” Doojun turned around when he realized that Ssam D didn’t follow him anymore.

Ssam D’s ear was glued to the practice room as he heard a soft and delicate voice.

“Hyung.. what are you doing?”

“Sttttttt!!” Ssam D couldn’t get enough of her voice. Doojun tried to listen too. He chuckled and opened the door. The girl was surprised by both Doojun and Ssam D. “O sunbaemin..” Sunhae quickly put down her guitar and bowed politely. She was so adorable, waaaaayyy too adorable for the kind of group Ssam and E-Sens planned out but he just couldn’t get rid of her voice. “This is Park Sunhae.. she’s one of the trainee here. She’s going to debut with… another seven trainees.” Ssam D’s dream crushed. “Ahh I see I see. Well good luck Sunhae-shi.” She bowed again and the two guys left the room. “Ya Dooju-ah..”

“Em?”

“Contact me if the CEO change his mind.” Doojun looked at him in weird expression. “What?”

“Fine! Don’t tell anyone.. yes I’m debuting a girl group. Not soon though cause I need more girls and that girl just fit well not really but yeah I like her voice.”

“Uwaah! You’re really going to debut a girl group?!” Ssam D blocked Doojun’s mouth with his hand. “Stttt!!!” both of them laughed.

Just like any other free nights the two teams, DynamicDuo and Supreme Team came out to the street but this time, they invited the two trainees along. They were eating Champong at their usual hang out restaurant when one of their underground friends texted them about tonight’s show. “I think we should go.” Geiko said the other three nodded in excitement. “Wait, where are we going?” one of the girls asked. “To paradise~” Ssam D wrecked her hair. “Ya.. are you Champong-drunk?” everyone laughed.

They arrived just about time for someone who might stole their attention was about to perform. “Woahh..” one of the girls said, amazed by the fact there was a girl on a place like this and she was actually going to perform, she must have something she thought. “Uh.. check one two” the band behind her nodded, she raised her thumb. The MC came out from the backstage. “A-yo wassup everyone?” everyone cheered. The MC waved to the two Amoeba teams. “Give it up for DynamicDuo and Supreme Team!!” everyone turned to them and cheered. They raised their hand and waved to everyone. “And now give it up for Aè!!!!!! Leggo!” the MC went back to the backstage as the light went of. “Yo the name is Aè!” the song blasted as she said that.

Everyone cheered for her and started to dance along jazzy the song who would have thought that Jazz and fast rap made such a good impact? “Woooo~”

“Ya! ya! where are you girls going?” Geiko asked but the two trainees were already lost in the crowd dancing to the song, while Ssam D and E-Sens were drowned to her amazing performance. “I think we found the group’s ace.” E-Sens could just nodded to Ssam-D’s words. After she sang three songs (two in Koreans) , Supreme Team asked one of their friends to call the girl. “Hyungs, this is Aè.” The girl with a black adidas jacket bowed. Without wasting anymore time, “Do you want to debut with those girls?” Ssam D pointed at the two girls who were dancing on the dance floor. The girl stared at them and back to Ssam D with no words. “Can you dance?” the girl smirked and did a hand stand right away. Everyone jaw dropped. “Okay you’re so going to the debut under Amoeba.”
