Chapter 1

A long long time ago, after the era of the dinosaurs, in a far far away land, far away that nobody knew that a fairy tale like this actually exist...there was a man and woman, wishing to have a child. They keep on waiting for like a hundred years, but still, the woman can’t conceive a baby. But they didn’t lose hope, and one day their prayer has been answered as the woman finally conceived a child after a long long wait...one sunny afternoon, the woman was standing by the window and saw a garden. It was full of the most beautiful flowers in the whole world and the most delicious herbs and vegetables no one had ever tasted before. The woman saw a bed which was planted with the tastiest pumpkin. It looks so fresh and orange that she longed for it and wanted to taste it badly. Her husband notice her, he immediately approach his loving wife

“Honey, what’s wrong?”

The woman pointed her finger on the pumpkin

“I want that pumpkin”

Her husband’s eyes widened

“But that garden was owned by the evil fairy witch”

The woman pout

“But I want those pumpkins or else I’ll die and our baby will die too”

The husband stares at his wife nervously

“I’ll try my best to get some of those pumpkins”

In the twilight of the evening, when the moon is shining so brightly and the stars are twinkling up in the sky, the husband climbed over the wall into the garden of the evil fairy witch. He smiles at the pumpkins and grabbed a handful of it and gives it to his wife who ate it happily. She liked it so much, she longed for it each and every day.

“I want more of those pumpkins. I want to eat it every day”

“Your wish is my command”

When the evening strikes, the husband set out again, but to his surprised, he saw the evil fairy witch standing before him. She raised her eyebrow and set her eyes upon him

“What are you doing in my garden? How dare you to sneak in my lovely garden and steal my pumpkins like that?”

“But”

“Actually, you can ask for my permission. I’m not that selfish ok”

The man smiles at her. He set her eyes upon the evil fairy witch; she doesn’t look scary at all. She’s actually beautiful and so cute. She looks so innocent and harmless

“Why are you staring at me?”

The man gulp

“Why are they calling you evil fairy witch? You look so harmless”

The evil fairy witch laughs so hard

“I actually don’t know. I’m not evil, well...”

She thinks for a moment before speaking

“I am evil, a bit...sometimes, I am evil”

She grabbed some pumpkins and gives it to the man

“Bring it home and give it to your loving wife...in one condition”

The man stares at her nervously

“What is it?”

The evil fairy witch laughs before speaking

“Before I give my condition, I need to ask you something”

The man nod at her

“Do I laugh so evil?”

He shook his head

“Is that your evil laugh?”

The evil fairy witch nod at him before pouting

“My laugh is not evil?”

“It’s actually cute, not evil”

The evil fairy witch gets her mirror in her pocket

“Mirror, mirror on my hand who is the most beautiful woman in the whole universe?”

The mirror turns black; the man was shocked when the mirror suddenly speaks

“You want the truth or should I lie?”

The evil fairy witch hit the mirror

“Of course I want the truth, pabo”

The mirror flash his evil smile before speaking

“Since you asked for the truth, then I shall tell you the truth. No string attached ok?”

She nods at the mirror

“Heenim godmother is still number one, number two is Princess Hyukkie, third is Princess Wookie Belle, and according to my list, you’re on the fourth place”

The evil fairy witch’s eyes widened

“This can’t be. Heenim godmother and I are the one who are competing on the top spot, who is this two Princesses?”

He smirks at her

“The Queen of the Night Night Palace already gives birth to her first born and that is Princess Hyukkie. They’re actually having a party right now”

The mirror shows her the party for the newly born daughter of the King and Queen of Night Night Palace. She saw the twelve fairies in the party, the evil fairy witch frown

“How come I am not invited? I am the thirteenth fairy”

The mirror shook his head

“I need to gate crashed, they must feel my anger. I shall give their first born daughter the best gift”

She smiles devilishly

“And who is Princess Wookie Belle?”

“She will arrive soon; she will be the younger daughter of the King and Queen of the Night Night Palace”

“Arasso, I’ll just give my gift to her when her mother already gives birth to her.”

The evil fairy witch laughs so hard; the mirror coughs and smirk

“I still laugh so evil compare to you. I think you need more practice”

The evil fairy witch nod

“I know”

She hits the mirror and put it back in her pocket. She stares at the man who is looking at her blankly

“You’re still here?”

He nods

“I thought you already left”

“You’re not yet telling me about the condition that you want in exchange for the pumpkins”

“I almost forgot, good thing you remind me”

She takes a deep breath

“You must give me the baby of your wife. I will take care of him like my own son”

“But”

She shoots him a deadly glare

“No buts...give him to me and I shall be his mother. You can make another child ok”

“Arasso”

“Go ahead and leave, I shall attend the party and give my gift to Princess Hyukkie”

She laughs so hard before vanishing in the wind

*NIGHT NIGHT PALACE*

Everyone is happy as they celebrate the birth of Princess Hyukkie. Each of the fairies has presented their gifts one by one. They give her virtue, beauty, riches and so on. After the eleventh fairy had presented her gifts, the thirteenth fairy suddenly appeared from nowhere. She was so angry and wanted to show them her unkindness for not having been invited to the feast

“How come I’m not invited here?”

She frowns at the King and Queen

“Because we only had twelve golden plates, so we didn’t mind inviting you”

She pouts at them

“YAH! You can at least tell it to me then I’ll just bring my own golden plate”

“I’m sorry, we didn’t know”

She laughs so hard until she coughs

“Are you ok?”

She nods happily

“I’m just practicing my evil laugh; I need to beat my mirror. He’s good than me. Aish!!!”

She takes a deep breath and without hesitation, she called out in a loud voice

“When the Princess turns fifteen years old, she shall prick herself with a spi—“

The Queen raised her hand to stop her from talking

“What? I’m not yet done, just complain later”

“Why fifteen? Can you just make it eighteen? Please”

The evil fairy witch thinks for a moment before nodding her head in agreement

“Fine, since I’m not that evil, I’ll make it eighteen. Can I speak now?”

The Queen nod at her

“When the Princess turns eighteen years old, as requested by the Queen, she shall prick herself with a spindle and shall fall down dead!”

The guest were horrified, the Queen fell on the floor, sobbing

“That was so cruel; I thought you’ll just make her sleep for a certain span of time”

“I need to do it, so I’ll look so evil”

The evil fairy witch laughs so hard

“Be careful, you might cough again”

She sighs and stares at the Queen who is still sobbing

“That’s my decision and it’s final”

She stares at Heenim godmother

“It’s up to you what you will do, you’re the twelfth fairy and you haven’t given your gift”

Heenim godmother nod at her; the evil fairy witch laugh and fly on the ceiling before vanishing in the wind

“What shall we do now my dear King?”

The King just shook his head while staring at the Queen sadly. Heenim godmother walks towards them

“Don’t lose hope; I haven’t given my gift for Princess Hyukkie”

They look at her, she smiles at them

“My magic can’t remove the curse, but I can soften it”

She points her magic wand on the sleeping baby

“Your daughter shall not die, but she will just fall into a deep sleep that will last for a hundred years. But...the curse will vanished if a man with long blonde hair from Rapon-pon Land will love her truly and his kissed will bring everything back in normal”

She smiles at them

“You don’t need to worry because I’ll guard her and your other daughter who was about to be born soon. I’ll be their fairy godmother, their protector”

“Thank you”

Heenim godmother smiles at them before vanishing in a golden dust
