Broken Wings
Description
This is a sqequel for my fic Halo~ If you haven't read that one, I suggest you do that first because a lot of things will make more sense. However, you dont HAVE to, I'm just saying...you should. This should be about 4-5 chapters. Anyway, as promised, it's the 19th so I'll be posting the first chapter shortly.
Foreword
Stories of angels have been around since the early existence of men. But the angels themselves are as old as time. They are scattered
throughout the universe, as messengers, healers, watchers and protectors. Doers of justice and righteousness. And for every star in the sky, there is an angel for which that star belongs to.
If the star dies, so does the angel . . . and vice versa.
Humans know nothing of the life of angels, though they paint pictures of what they imagine us to be. The realism of the fact is that even though angels are immortal and ‘pure’ souls, we are flawed. And so there is a strict set of angelic laws that cannot be broken, punishment for breaking these laws is banishment, or even death.
I am guilty of that. My crime, falling in love with a human named Taecyeon. But in an act to save me, my brother, head watcher of our region in the higher realm and keeper of the temple of Uriel, has ordered the gates of heaven to be closed from my passing, trapping me here for the next hundred years.
One and a half of those years have passed, but it has felt like twenty.
