“Stupid Kai and Suho” Baekhyun said while walking

“Babo Jooyoung! Don’t you realize I’m sad that you weren’t in my birthday and now you just made me mad” Baekhyun said and kicked a rock which was lying on the grass, he stopped just under a tree

“Ouch, if I was the rock, I’m sure I’m dead”

Baekhyun heard a familiar voice. He turned around and saw you.

“Hi” you sheepishly said

“What’re you doing here, aren’t you doing your homework… Oh and class is about to start go and pass your precious homework” Baekhyun said and rolled his eyes as he turned back around and sat down under the tree

You pouted then you went in front of him and crouched down in front of him, he was looking at another direction to distract his self.

“Baekhyun” you called but he didn’t respond

You sighed but didn’t give up, this time you called him the name only you have the permission to call him

“Baek” you said in a soft voice and rested your hands on his knee as you rest your head as well

Baekhyun sighed and then looked at you.

Because you were resting your head in his knee, there was a little space between his face and yours but you two didn’t mind. In times like this, nothing really mattered.

“Baek, I’m sorry” you calmly said

He remained silent but was looking into your eyes

“I know your 20^th birthday is something important, in all times, I don’t even know why I was away with a friend that day.” you said and blinked at him

He sighed. You felt his breath on your forehead as you kept on looking up at his eyes while resting your head on his knee

“I just want to know where you were and who was with you, it’s not a hard question Jooyoung, I don’t understand why you had to ignore the question and act annoyed instead” Baekhyun said

“I’m sorry… the truth is…” you paused as you bit your lip and took your head away from resting on his knee. You looked at him nervously and he was intently looking back at you, waiting for your explanation.

You sighed “Here goes everything” you said

“what everything--- ” he was cut off when you spoke again

“Truth is I was with Chanyeol” you said and peered at his reaction

His mouth was open in disbelief

“Maybe the boys were right” Baekhyun thought

He was about to speak when you put your fingers into his lips
“I’m not done” you said

He took your hands away and spoke instead
“What! You guys are dating you didn’t even tell me and instead you ditched my birthday and made Chanyeol leave early so that you two can be a lovey dovey pair somewhere on your date!”

He stood up and almost walked away but you grabbed his wrists and made him hit the tree lightly, his back was on the tree. He attempted to walk away but you didn’t let him and put your arms on both sides of him on the tree

“You’re not going anywhere!” you said

“What! I can’t go anywhere and you can Joo--” Baekhyun was startled

You leaned in and kissed him in the lips, being a little too short; you tiptoed to reach his level. After seconds which felt like years, you pulled away and looked at him in the eye.

You pulled your hair tie, making your medium length brown hair flow down and you took your glasses off and tossed it somewhere on the ground

Baekhyun still shock spoke “W-what are you doing?”

You looked at him
“you know why I’m dressed nicely? You know why I was trying to look cute? Because I wanted to look good when I confess that… that… THAT I LIKE YOU BYUN BAEKHYUN!!! I LIKE YOU!!”

Baekhyun blinked

“THE REASON WHY I WAS WITH CHANYEOL WAS NOT BECAUSE WE WERE ON A DATE!! IT WAS BECAUSE I WANTED TO CONFESS TO YOU THAT DAY BUT CHANYEOL TOLD ME IT WAS SO SUDDEN, HE SAID THAT I SHOULD LOOK GOOD AND THEN I SHOULD TAKE YOU SOMEWHERE IN THIS SCHOOL THAT WOULD BE QUIET AND CALM AND--” you were cut off when Baekhyun made you lean on the tree instead and he looked intently at you

Your eyes where beautiful without the fake glasses, and to add up to it, you were looking beautiful when your hair was down like this.

“Since when did you like me?” Baekhyun asked

“Since that middle school…” you said and looked away “I know it’s been a while, I’ve been trying to deny it but when you asked me to prom that day… I was sure that I liked you” you said

“The Prom….” Baekhyun said

You didn’t know what to say so you stayed quiet, but the quietness was replaced by your gasped when Baekhyun rested his forehead on yours and lightly chuckled

“I thought I was the only one having that kind of feelings during middle school” Baekhyun said

You blinked “e-eh?”
“All this time I thought I was in a one-sided love” he paused

“I kept on denying and denying that I like you every time those stupid friends of mine tells me the fact” Baekhyun said

You two looked at each other and Baekhyun smiled
“This freaking life ! I wanted to confess to you first” Baekhyun said and then there it was that…

He kissed you on the lips, he cupped your face in his hands and shifted his head a little to get the angle he wanted.

It was as if a million years have passed because of how your heart beats out of the ordinary. The nervousness you were feeling earlier was gone and was now replaced by flying butterflies on your stomach.

Baekhyun pulled away first and looked intently into your eyes, you looked back at him.

“Next time, don’t hide anything from your best friend… no, from your boyfriend” He said and smiled

You smiled back at him “You haven’t even asked me if I’m agreeing that you’ll be my boyfriend” You said

“Would you not accept me?” He said

Just then the two of you heard someone shouting
“Hey you two! What year are you on? CLASSES ARE STARTING AND NO PDA IN THIS SCHOOL!!” the guy said.

“Run?” Baekhyun looked at you and chuckled
you nodded and he took your hand “Let’s skip school today miss perfect attendance” Baekhyun said

You can’t help but smile as you take notice of his hands which was on yours as you two ran away. It was as if a sculptor intentionally made your hands to fit with each other.
