“Aish I am so going to kill her” Baekhyun said and crossed his arms

“Psh, like you can?” Sehun said and laughed

“Isn’t celebrating with us enough?” Kai said and sat on the chair next to Baekhyun

 

They were on the classroom, waiting for the time class starts. Being the popular students they are… all eyes were on them when they got in, but as classmates for almost 4 years of high school, they were used to seeing these boys on the classroom every day.

 

“Of course it’s not enough for him, he likes the girl for God’s sake, why wouldn’t he want to celebrate with her” Suho said and smirked, Sehun snickered and hi-fived Suho.

“For the nth time, I don’t like her okay! Jooyoung is my best friend” Baekhyun said and heaved a sigh.

D.O flicked his forehead; Baekhyun glared at him and rolled his eyes.
“That’s what planted on your head” D.O said

“Yeah, but not in your heart, you’re too distracted to even realize that” Kai said and stretched his arms

 

“Never knew you were someone romantic Kai” Baekhyun rolled his eyes and leaned back, crossing his arms once again and rested his foot on the desk. Kai did the same and the others just continued talking.

 

“Maybe she was busy with something?” Sehun tilted his head

“Busy dating someone else right?” Suho said and smirked, Sehun laughed

“She doesn’t have a boyfriend” Baekhyun said

“What if she got one during the weekend, DURING YOUR BIRTHDAY” Suho emphasized.

“She won’t do that without even telling me” Baekhyun said

“But you’re not her father or mother so maybe she thought she can delay the things she will tell you” Kai smirked

 

“Whatever! Where is Chanyeol anyway?” Baekhyun said furrowing his eyebrows

“Oh yeah, didn’t realize your other best friend is not around” Suho shrugged and sat down on his own chair while Sehun and D.O continued on sitting on their desk instead of the chair.

 

“Wait something popped out of my mind” Sehun said, closing his eyes and pointing his fingers above like he thought of something amazing

 

“Maybe…” he paused and looked around “MAYBE JOOYOUNG AND CHANYEOL WERE TOGETHER!!” Sehun shouted making everyone look at him weirdly

“Babo… Chanyeol was with us when we celebrated baek’s birthday” Kai threw a crumpled paper at him

“But come to think of it, he left early” Suho said

“Ooh… I smell something fishy” D.O chuckled

“Shut up guys” Baekhyun said and rolled his eyes

“Did you even try to call her?” Suho asked

“I did but Jooyoung---” Baekhyun paused when he saw you finally going inside the classroom

 

“Oh~ speaking of” Sehun grinned and sat down properly, all 5 of them did.

You immediately sat down on your seat just two rows away from the boys and quickly got out your notebook and pen, with that you started to do something.

 

 

 

With his mouth open and arms crossed, Baekhyun shrugged in disbelief on his chair while the other guys chuckled silently. You didn’t even bother saying hi, and he noticed something else.

 You were wearing glasses which were very weird because he always knew you had a perfect vision, and you had your hair in a bun; you were wearing your uniform nicely unlike any other day where you would somehow violate the rule. You had high-socks on which was one right thing again about your uniform. It was a black high-sock, which length was just below your knee, making your milky white skin shine even more.

 

“If I was you, I’d talk to her right now” Kai leaned closer and whispered.

Baekhyun pushed Kai away and rolled his eyes. He stood up and sat next to you which was empty since the other students were still not around

 

Baekhyun saw what you were doing and a soft and calm smile somehow formed onto his lips. He saw you carefully doing your homework. He had always admired you when it comes to these things, you were always making sure everything was done nicely and was not rushed.

 

“Hey” he greeted you

You looked up and blinked at him “H-hi Baekhyun” you stuttered and your face stated to turn into a shade of red. Baekhyun blinked and put his hand into your forehead

 

“Are you sick!?” he panicked

“Oh… no, I’m not sick! I’m totally fine!” you said and pushed his hands away

 

He furrowed his eyebrows ‘she’s acting weird’ he thought but then pushed it away

“Why are you wearing glasses?” Baekhyun said
“Does it look ugly?” you asked
“Of course not, you look cute!” Baekhyun said
“So Chanyeol is right. He’s the one who told me to wear one” you said and smiled

“Chanyeol…?” Baekhyun furrowed his eyebrows and looked at you; you just nodded and continued writing.

 

“Where were you during my birthday by the way?” Baekhyun asked as he pulled the pen away from your hands.

 

You blinked and then bit your lip “well, with a friend actually” you said

“Which friend was it?” He asked

“Someone” you hesitantly said

“Why won’t you tell me?” Baekhyun asked with a straight face this time

“It’s not important” you said and tried to get the pen back

 

He put it in his pocket and looked intently at you. You could see he was somehow irritated.

“It is important! It was my birthday Jooyoung! It was my 20^th birthday!” Baekhyun said, his voice not so calm anymore

“I’m sorry okay! I’ll make it up to you” you said in an annoyed tone “Now give me back my pen!”

“I don’t care if you make it up or not, all I wanted to know was where you were, which friend it was that you could ditch your best friend! Why do you have to sound annoyed! You don’t want to talk me? Are you having that time of the month? Whatever!” Baekhyun said and stood up he was about to walk back to his seat when he remembered your pen, he went back and stood in front of your desk

 

“Here’s your pen!” he said “How could you even ignore what I’m saying and continue doing your homework” Baekhyun said and walked back to his seat

 

You sighed and lowered you head, trying to concentrate on your work but you bit your lip and then it turned into a pout. You looked back at the boys and saw them talking to each other, Baekhyun was talking to Kai when he turned his head and caught you looking, he furrowed his eyebrows and looked back to Kai

 

“Andwae~ He’s mad” you thought and looked back at your paper. You can take everything anytime, just not Baekhyun getting mad at you. Well, you like him after all. it was always hard for you when he’s mad.

 

You didn’t know when you started to like him but you were sure it was around middle school. You were always thinking that it’s wrong, but you started to accept the fact when that one time, he asked you to go to prom with him instead of any other girls, he said it was always great when he was with you. His exact lines were

 

“You’re one of the greatest girls in the world, why would I not ask you for prom?” he said.

 

You sighed.
‘Aigoo my dear bacon please don’t be mad, I just can’t tell you right now, I’m planning on telling you later, ugh! This is making me more nervous than I’m already in’ you thought.

 

Just then, Chanyeol went in the classroom, with his “Happy Virus” role in the whole campus, he went in and greeted everyone so loudly “AYO WASSUP EVERYONE!” he said.

 The boys called him and waved at him, but then he scanned the room and saw you, he quickly made his way to the seat next to yours and started to say something.

 

Baekhyun was watching the whole thing, Chanyeol was whispering something to you and you would whisper back. Baekhyun, once again, furrowed his eyebrows.

 

“What are they talking about anyway, she isn’t even approaching me to apologize, silly babo” Baekhyun thought.

 

He unknowingly sighed as he was burying his face on his arm to sleep the whole class.
Kai and Suho looked at each other and grinned.

 

They leaned in on each side of Baekhyun and whispered
“Someone is jealous~” they said in unison and in a low, quiet voice making Baekhyun startled

 

“Aish chincha…” Baekhyun stood up and left the classroom

Kai and Suho chuckled and hi-fived each other.

 

You and Chanyeol looked up and you bit your lip
“Go after him before he really gets mad the whole day, you know when one person is irritated the whole to a particular person, it’ll continue until forever” Chanyeol said

 

You just nodded and stood up; just then the teacher came and saw you running out. He was about to call you but it was too late. Chanyeol went to his seat beside Sehun

 

“Where’s she going?” Sehun asked
“Hmmm… following the love of her life” Chanyeol said and grinned
