Rubbing my nose for the umpteenth time over the course of a few hours, I sniffled and let out a small yawn, already losing track of how long we spent in this room as I asked as many questions possible to better understand my situation. With nothing else left to inquire at the moment, I stared at the ground in defeat, accepting my fate. The leader of the group cleared his throat to break the silence, clapping his hands together, "Okay, well... If there's nothing else, we should probably get going to our place."
Hearing that, I sulked, *Well I don't exactly have a choice now, do I?* Standing up, we huddled to leave the grand hotel room which I had no idea how we even ended up in there in the first place. Letting out a sigh, I rubbed my bare arms in resignation. Noticing the action from my side, Chunji removed his jacket before wrapping it around my frame. I stared up at him with wide eyes, feeling my heart skip a beat as our eyes met for the second time tonight.
He smiled genuinely at me this time, giving my head a small pat. *Okay, I guess maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all?* Biting shyly onto my bottom lip, I did my best to suppress the stupid smile that was fighting to form on my lips like I'm some lovesick teenage girl. At the end of our journey, I looked around my surroundings to realise we'd arrived at the parking lot of the hotel. Right in front of us was a black van definitely large enough to fit us all.
The guys seemed to have settled into their pre-assigned seats and I was left with no choice but to make myself comfortable between Changjo and Ricky. They beamed at me with no fangs in sight, as though sensing the intimidation I felt and that immediately relieved the tension in my shoulders. *It's okay, they won't eat me... I hope.* I smiled back at them, opting to shut my eyes for a bit in hopes of using sleep as a form of escape from this reality resembling a nightmare.
