Hyunae's POV

 

"Park Hyunae~." Sungyeol sang my name and glomped at me,

"What do you want choding ?."  I asked him and sighed,

"Don't choding your master! You'd better call me oppa."  Sungyeol demanded and smiled at me. Seriously, he always smile and it creeps me out. "Did you liked what I did the other day?" Sungyeol said and pouted his lips,

"Seriously that was disgusting." I mocked and shoved him away. For the millionth time, I remember always that kiss! It's wasn't my first, but urgh. I ruffled my hair and facepalmed.

"Don't mess up with your beauty, SLAVE." Sungyeol said and emphasized the  word slave, well not until the day after tomorrow cause i'll be free again as a bird, but not for the rest three weeks two months. I hate this stupid contract!

"Damn it Sungyeol. Don't be so greasy, it doesn't fit you for god's sake !." I said and furrowed my eye brows.

"You did like it. You blushed when i kissed you." Sungyeol said with a big grin. That's it i'm pissed off. I stood up and leave him at the room, going to the library to hide from his annoying face. I went to the library and took a book, just a random book so  i won't get scolded.

"Can I sit here ?." someone asked but i didn't bothered to look at him,

"No, no one sit with the queenka." I replied. Well yes, no one dares unless that person is my friend. Who the heck is so confident to sit with me ? I sighed and looked up, seeing that angelic face again.

"M-Myungsoo ?!." I stuttered and stood up,

"Well i guess I have to find another place." he mumbled and curled his lips,

"Wait no, y-you can sit with me." I shyly said and accidentally held his hand.

"Okay, thanks." he replied and flashed a smile, which killed me inside. Both of us are there, he's reading a book while i fakely read one, pretending to be busy but actually just admiring his perfect face.

"So what's up with Sungyeol and you ?" he asked and looked at me, I blushed insanely from his gaze, hiding my face behind the book.

"We're friends. and he just set me up with a dare." I replied and bit my lower lip, I hope Myungsoo don't know all about what's happening.

"Would you mind, uncovering your face or at least let me see your eyes." Myungsoo demanded and pulled the book  down.

I looked down and puffed my cheeks, WHY ARE YOU LIKE THAT KIM MYUNGSOO ?!

"So, i've seen that you're being more close with Sungyeol now ? Is he courting you ?" Myungsoo asked again,

"I told you, there's nothing between me and Sungyeol." I replied and shook my head.

"If it's that so, why did he took you with him the other day ?"Myungsoo asked and raised a brow,

"We... W-We went back to the room, to finish some assignments. Yes.. that." I replied and stuttered, whispering the last words.

"Okay, I see. If it's that so, can we both study together too ?" Myungsoo asked and smiled leaning closer to me.

"No, come on Hyunae ! We still haven't finished  our history lecture. Goodbye for now Myungsoo." Sungyeol said and dragged me again, at least he could say that we would go instead of dragging me.

"You're always been in my way Lee Sungyeol." I hissed and walked behind him,

"There's no chance on being together with Myungsoo." he mumbled and didn't even looked at me, this choding gone way too serous. What's with him anyway?

It is sweet of Sungyeol to be taking good care of Hyunae. Despite her denseness toward some things, Hyunae is aware of her true feelings. In a previous chapter, she did think to herself about wishing that Sungyeol returns the same love she has toward him. It's admirable of Sungyeol to finally pour out his heart to Hyunae. Being close to losing her seems to have opened his eyes and his heart to see how precious she is to him. This ought to give her something to think about while she lays down to rest. It should make her heart glad hearing the confession from him.

Some Ch. 40 mistakes:

No I'm okay.
Correction: Yes, I'm okay.

My heartbeat's went on a quicker phase.
Correction: My heart beated at a quicker pace.

I mumbled and looked at her, seeing her expression with confusement.
* It should be "confusion" instead of "confusement."

* Note: The pronoun "I" is capitalized no matter where it is in the sentence.

It's a good thing that Infinite arrived at the scene in time to come to her rescue. Sungyeol is so noble to dive after Hyunae to prevent her from drowning to death. This scene reminds me of a particular scene in "Ouran High School Host Club" where Tamaki dove after Haruhi right after she was pushed off a cliff. Just as much as Tamaki cares for Haruhi, Sungyeol is so deeply in love with Hyunae to the point that he can't bear to lose her. There's a difference between kissing and giving CPR. Sungyeol's just like a kid when he's jealous. He doesn't have to worry since Myungsoo already clarified before that he doesn't like Hyunae that way. If he does, he wouldn't have gone to all that trouble to help bring the two together. Myungsoo does make it obvious that he supports them as a couple. Hyunae said so herself a few chapters back that she's really into Sungyeol now. It's sweet of him to stay by her side when she's unconscious. The question remains about how they'd make A Pink pay for their actions.

I jumped off the cliff and angled my self to fasten the falling speed.
Correction: I jumped off the cliff and angled myself to increase the falling speed.
* Fasten means to tightly secure something (i.e. a seatbelt).

Use mouth to mouth resiscitation Myungsoo.
Correction: Use mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, Myungsoo.

*It's spelled "unconscious."

Hyunae is missing out on the fun by not joining the boys. Her inability to swim explains why she's reluctant to hit the water. She could benefit by taking swimming lessons from them. Sungyeol is considerate of her to not continue further because of her uneasiness. Infinite is worried about Hyunae's safety because A Pink's around to cause her harm. Despite their warnings, Hyunae must be worried about Sungyeol to not want to just sit around and do nothing. So, she decided to go out to look for him. A Pink is going too far by using Hyunae to threaten Infinite because of Sungyeol rejecting Namjoo. They're doing this to make Sungyeol regret his decision. It would mean big trouble for her since she can't swim. Hopefully, they'd get there to save Hyunae in time.

Sungyeol was left dumbfounded and scratched his head, i chuckled on his expression.

Correction: "I'm going to be in the same room with Noona!"

Sungyeol said and dragged me on the more deeper part.
* It should be "to" instead of "on."
