It was very fulfilling for her,

To watch him, up on stage, smiling and singing to his fans.

It made her heart swell with happiness,

Seeing him, having him close and working with him.

The most difficult part was,

She had to pretend that she didn’t know him.

To pretend as if it was the first time they spoke to each, like it was the first time that they met.

No one will ever believe her if she told the truth about him.

About how she can talk to him, during the ungodly hours of the night until sun peeks in to the sky.

How she really knew him, beyond anyone else.

And most specially, no one will ever understand every time she expresses how much she truly loves him.

… including the fact that he loves her too.

It was the curse of being secret friends.
