"Hyung do you see?"

Sungyeol sighed. "See what?"

"Amber."

"No, Myungsoo, I do not see."

Myungsoo deflated. "I guess I'm too late and I just missed her. I'm sad."

He pouted and squished Sungyeol's face with his finger.

Sungyeol rolled his eyes. "Look, now I see." He pointed down the hall.

Myungsoo's face lit up like the lights on a Christmas tree.

"Okay, okay, I'm going to wave when she gets to that pole," Myungsoo pep-talked himself.

He plastered on his best "Look, I'm beautiful" face and got his stiff arm ready for waving.

Amber passed in about three seconds.

"Did you see?!" Myungsoo squealed. "She waved back!!"

Sungyeol rolled his eyes again. "Yeah, I saw. Good job."

Myungsoo swooned and walked backwards so he could catch a last glimpse of Amber before she disappered into the sea of people.

"Amber!"

Amber jumped as she felt a pair of arms liking into hers. "Oh, it's you."

Krystal grinned. "Don't you mean, 'Oh! It's you!! I love you!'?"

Amber smiled too. "Yeah, exactly."

"There's Break Dance Club after school today, so don't miss it."

"Don't worry, I'll be there."

Krystal unhooked her arm. "Go to class, Ambie!"

Amber shuddered. "Don't call me that!"

Krystal waved and turned around....

....Only to find Myungsoo crouched unceremoniously behind a large group of people.

"You creeper!" she slapped him.

"Ow!" Myungsoo cringed. "Is she going?"

Krystal rolled her eyes. "Yeah."

Myungsoo beamed. "Great!"

He paused. "You know, there's been a lot of eye-rolling around me. Just for your information, if you keep rolling your eyes like that, they'll just roll into your skull, and then two pearly white eyeballs will be all we can see! How attractive!"

Krystal rolled her eyes nonetheless. "Whatever."

The bell rang.

Sungyeol rolled his eyes before Myungsoo even grabbed his elbow and dragged him out of the classroom.

"Krystal said to meet her by Break Club," Myungsoo breathed. "So let's go to Break Club and see if Ambie is there, and then we should go get frozen yogurt because I'm hungry, and then we should go back, and then maybe Ambie will want some of my frozen yogurt."

Sungyeol prayed to the gods that his eyes wouldn't roll into the back of his head because he could feel a whole afternoon of eye-rolling coming up.

"That doesn't even make sense. Why don't we go to straight to yogurt, then to Break Club?" Sungyeol asked in vain.

It was Myungsoo's turn to roll his eyes. "Because," he said, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world, "We have to go so Amber knows we're coming back. That way she won't leave before we get back. You know, keep her waiting and stuff."

"Yeah, whatever," Sungyeol sighed.

Myungsoo felt that the hallway leading to the Break Club meeting went on forever. With every step, he clutched tighter and tighter to Sungyeol's arm. Finally, they had reached the bright open space in front of the cafeteria that the dancers claimed every Wednesday for their popping, locking, and tumbling fun.

"Hyung," Myungso said unsteadily, surveying the dancers. "I don't think she's here."

Sungyeol, who was much taller, craned his neck to peek. "Aww, poor Myungie. All that effort and--"

Myungsoo gasped. "I see Amb--!!"

A few people turned to glare at him.

"I see--dead people. Yeah, that's right. Dead people," Myungsoo finished, for he spotted Amber. The cutest girl in the whole wide world.

Myungsoo blinked silently and finally managed to choke out, "Is Krystal here?"

They shook their heads. Myungsoo snuck a glance at Amber before turning him and Sungyeol around to leave. He sighed in admiration.

"Did you see the cute beanie Ambie was wearing?"

Amber plopped down on the cold floor, gasping for breath.

"Nice finish!" some of the guys applauded. Krystal gave her a light punch. "You've really improved."

Amber smirked. "Thanks." She looked towards the hallway. Mmm, Myungsoo...was he coming back?

Just as she was thinking that, Myungsoo's voice drifted from down the long hallway.

Amber could make out the faintest traces of what sounded like "Can you see...?"

But that didn't really make any sense. See what?

Amber sat up straighter as Myungsoo and his tall friend--what was his name? Sung-something?--appeared.

Myungsoo was clutching a bowl of fro-yo.

Yogurt. Amber loved yogurt. She wanted some. Yum.

It was too bad Myungsoo made his way to Krystal...

"Bah! You have yogurt," Krystal drooled.

Myungsoo held out his bowl. "You can have some."

Krystal dug in. With Myungsoo's spoon.

As Krystal went back to dancing, Amber hopped over.

"Yooogurrrrt!"

Myungsoo smiled. "You can have some too."

Amber blinked. Myungsoo held out his green spoon and Amber scooped out some berry-colored yogurt.

The tarty yogurt cooled her tongue and she grinned at him before jumping onto the dance floor with Krystal.

Myungsoo and Sungyeol retreated to a corner.

As soon as they sat down, Myungsoo blurted, "I have to tell you something."

Sungyeol stared.

"But not now. I'll tell you later."

Sungyeol rolled his eyes. "Now that you're here, and she's here, can I leave?"

Myungsoo whined, "Hyungggg, then I'll be aloneeee. I'm afraid."
