Window
Mirror MirrorYour POV
When I woke up, I knew Kai was in his room. He was always in his room the morning after an abusive day or night. I washed quickly and went downstairs to prepare breakfast. I looked at the outside view. It was fake of course. Kai built a special window just for me. It would look out on any setting I want it too. I could even look out to Antarctica.
I was not allowed out of the mansion. Kai says it's too risky. Of course, I long to see the outside world. Not just the big garden we have in the backyard. I've been out there plenty.
I have been out of the mansion, once. I escaped. I had taken a huge risk, and it didn't end well. It had been only a few days since I had been 'born' so I couldn't remember much. I mean, I was really only two. It was like a normal human trying to remember things from when they were three or something.
But, I knew I had almost been caught by The Original's friends, but luckily, Kai was there. He knew something wasn't right and went out to find me. When he found me, he was shocked to see I was just metres away from Lee ~~~~~'s friends. He had taken my arm and dragged me away.
When we got home, I got what I deserved. It was stupid of me, really. But at that time, I didn't understand what was happening... I was what one would consider, a toddler, at that time.
Even though I knew the risks, I still want to step out that front door again. There was a part of me that wanted Lee ~~~~~'s friends to find me. Maybe if they did, they would've thought I was Lee ~~~~~. Maybe I could've been Lee ~~~~~. Then maybe Kai would've accept me. Even if he knew I was a fake. A clone.
If fate had been good to me, I would've been born Lee ~~~~~.
I envy Lee ~~~~~. I hate her.
