Foreword

Oneshot~ It's actually partially based off the movie "The Man From Nowhere" but I'm pretty much basing the ENTIRE thing off my dream I had a few nights ago -^^- A big thanks to Shani6 from the SpazzingOverU Graphic Shop for the poster and the background :D Okay okay, FOREWORD~

"Get out, theif!" Suyun tumbled into the street with a piece of bread in as the ahjumma threatened her with a broom. Suyun quickly scrambled up to her feet and ran, her silhouette flashing under the streetlights, and didn't look back. She panted as she slowed to a stop and nibbled at her bread she stole. It's been several days since she's eaten anything, and she was glad she managed to grab even a small amount of food.

Entering a small dainty store, Suyun examined the contents and items that were displayed. Bright colored clothes and vibrant candy were highly appealing, beckoning her. It was as if they were waiting for her to take them.

She cautiously eyed the old man at the cash register not too far off, confirming that he was paying attention only to the newpaper he was leafing through and not realized that she'd arrived. She returned her focus to the collectable play cards and small muffins that were arranged neatly on a nearby rack.

Finishing the remains of the bread, Suyun slowly made her way to her target, pretending to examine other merchandise as a precaution in case the old man did notice her. Reaching her destination, Suyun innocently placed her hands on the rack, tiptoeing to make it seem as though she was looking at the items that were hidden. Discreetly, Suyun slid the bagged muffins into the hands and curled her fingers around them, careful not to make too much noise. She carefully hid them in her oversided sweater pocket, and made another round for the cards before turning to leave

"Oh, m-mian," she mumbled as she ran into a man who appeared to be twice her age, mentally cursing herself as she heard the crinkling coming from her pocket. Suyun quickly scurried out the door to give the younger orphans what she'd gathered that night as the man she'd bumped into watched her figure disappear out of the shop.

"How much was what she took?" he asked the old man at the register.

"The Runaway steals a lot of things," the old man replied, not looking up. "It is not for herself, but for the homeless children. I do not mind."

"The Runaway?" The man turned and looked out the door. It was as if Suyun had never came.
