Ok this description will be kind of long..sorry for that but I wanna explain where each character comes from.

You: Do Kyungmi

Info: Kyungmi lived in America with her mom, and twin brother Kyungsoo. She used to live with her mother, father, and brother in Busan until she was 8, and her father cheated on her mother forcing them to pack up their things, and begin a new life in America. Life with a single parent was difficult for her, and she never quite got back on the right path once she made friends with the wrong kids in America, and started drinking her life away. As punishment for her continuous bad behavior Kungmi's mother sent her back to South Korea to live with the father whom never kept in touch with her to begin with. This time she's starting over in Seoul with her father his wife, and step brother, Lim Hyunshik who is not related to her what so ever. After living with them for a few months she make friends with a group of people who seem to have an understanding of where she's coming from because they also have rough pasts. 

DisMay 

Leader: Bang Yongguk

Info: Yongguk is in charge of drums in DisMay, and is also the band leader. At the age of 11 his father ran off with stolen money, and is said to be hiding out some where in Europe. To Bang it doesn't matter where he lives because in his eyes he's a dead man walking. His father abandoned him as well as his 6 year old sister who Bang had to provide shelter for, and food. That's too much to ask of an 11 year old. Bang's sister ended up dyeing of starvation, and a man found Bang sleeping under a bridge, and took him in.

Kim Yookwon

Info:  Yookwon is the bass player for DisMay. Yookwon is known for being a player. All that he cares about is playing his bass, winning band competitions, and dating girls. Throughout his entire life he was treated like a prince. His father owned many successful business' in South Korea. Expensive clothes, the best tutors, popularity are just some of the things he was used to. However none of those things ever made him happy. He ran away to his friend Bang's place where he met the man that would take him in, and ever since then he's never been happier.

Park Kyung:

Info: The only guitarist for DisMay, everyone knows a good band needs two guitarists. Kyungmi is going to be the second guitarist. Once Kyung trains her enough. Out of everyone in the group Kyung must have the worst past. His father was sentenced to life in prison after it was proved he was the one who killed his own wife, Kyung's mom. Being that he was an only child, and his extended family was too ashamed of what happened, he was completely on his own. He used to have a noona, but she died a long time ago in a fire. He found his way into the home of Bang, Ukwon.

Lee Darae (from RaNia): 

Info: Is the lead vocalist for the band. Used to be the only female in DisMay until Kyungmi showed up. Even though she's a bit jealous of all the attention she get's she's still very friendly, and close to Kyungmi. Her best friend is Kyung who is in the same year as her. He was the one who got her to runaway from her abusive father, and live with him, Bang, and Ukwon. She was a bit iffy about living with three guys, and a man who supposedly took in stray kids, but trusted Kyung enough to run away.

Choi Junhong: 

Info: The cute maknae, and plays the keyboard for DisMay. Also goes by the name of Zelo. Despite the age difference Bang, and Zelo are inseparable. Bang found him sleeping at a park at a very young age, and took him in. He's known as Bang's robot creation. Zelo grows closer to all the members, and reveals his funny personality. No one really knows about his past because when ever asked about it he pretends to "run out of batteries." He doesn't do anything without consulting Bang about it first.

Tablo:

The man who took all of these lost kids, and gave them something productive to do. Without him there would be no DisMay. He provides food for them, shelter, and asks nothing in return.
