“So, are you okay with the motorcycle thing after Taeyeon-ssi’s whole deal? I asked, anxiously waiting for an answer. My hands unconsciously fumbled with my helmet as I stared intently at her.

“De, no problem at all! Don’t worry oppa, Taeyeon unnie is a big wuss. She’s such a worry wart sometimes!” Yuri answered hilariously. I couldn’t help but grin widely at her comment. As if on cue, Yuri’s phone started to ring. “Ah, Yoboseyo?”

Switch to Yuri’s POV

-“Ah, Yoboseyo?”

-“Yuri-ah?”

-“De, Unnie?”

-“Please give the phone to ________-ssi.”

-“Um, araseo…”

Back to  ________’s POV

“Oh.. oppa, for you” Yuri said, holding her phone out to me. I stared at her dumbly for a few seconds before she gestured for me to take the phone. I hesitantly took her phone and answered.

“Uh, Yoboseyo?” I answered quietly.

“________ oppa?” the voice asked me. She sounded weirdly familiar, but I couldn’t place her voice to a face.

“De… Sorry who is this?” I said. I felt bad cause I didn’t know her name.

“Are you serious? Oppa! We just met fifteen minutes ago! Unbelievable!” She reprimanded me. I racked my brains a little before I realized.

“Oh crap… Taeyeon-ssi, josesonghabnida!” I said. I gave myself a slap in the face. I saw Yuri out of the corner of my eye. She was giggling to herself cutely. I’m almost 100% sure that she was laughing at me.

“Jincha, is your memory okay?! Yah, oppa what did I tell you about formalities” she said.  I felt the corners of my lips unconsciously curl upwards as I heard her silly remarks.

“Mianhae Taeyeon-ah. So what did you need to talk to me about….?" I said, my voice trailing off at the end of the sentence. I heard her clear on the other side of the line, and I must admit it was extremely cute, with a hint of ahjumma in it?

“Oh yeah… you better be careful oppa… If there’s a single scratch on Yuri when she comes back… it’ll be the end of you, which would be quite unfortunate because I like you…” She threatened me darkly. I had chills run up my back as her words reached my ears and got tangled in my brain. I nervously swallowed and not surprisingly, it was difficult to swallow.

“Uhh, de……” I mumbled into the receiver. I heard Tayeon giggle to herself quietly. I waited silently for her to reply

“Anyways, that’s all. Have fun on your date! Annyeong!” She said happily. Before I could correct her about our meeting being a date, she hung up.

“Heh, that was weird…” I said, handling Yuri back her phone. She looked at me questionably. “I think Tayeon’s just being over protective of you… I guess? I really don’t know…”

“Aish, I’m not a baby anymore! I can take care of myself…gahh” Yuri said to herself. I couldn’t help but crack a smile. I put my hand on her head and smiled at her.

“Eyy, she’s just worrying about you, it’s cute. I honestly wished my hyungs would care like that haha. Anyways, kaja!” I said, handing her the helmet, which she gladly took.

I hopped on and revved the engine. Surprisingly, Yuri got on without hesitation. Her arms s around my waist tightly, crossing over my stomach. Her chin was on my shoulder and I could feel the butterflies in my belly. My heart was racing like a jack rabbit. It’s a good thing Yuri couldn’t see my face because I’m pretty sure I was blushing red like a tomato, judging from the heat I felt on my cheeks. I took a few breathes, trying to calm myself down before driving.

Five minutes later, we were off. We were blazing down the roads of Seoul to my secret place. I can’t help but feel incredibly blessed; everything seemed to be in my favor. Yuri hugged her body tighter to mine as I drove, making the blood rush to my cheeks. With her body firmly pressed against me, I was almost dying. My heart was pounding dangerously and my brain was lingering on thoughts it shouldn’t be having… I got to my secret place as fast as I could. Luckily I got there in 15 minutes, I don’t know how much longer of that I could have taken…

“Well, here we are… it’s not much but it’s like home,” I said over my shoulder as I parked my back around the corner. I helped Yuri, off the bike before getting off myself. I blushed to myself when I saw her hand in my hand. I quickly let go of her hand, clearing my throat awkwardly.

“Halmoni Annyeonghaseyo~!” I said as we entered the cozy little café. It wasn’t anything fancy, it was quite traditional actually. The woman I referred to as halmoni came out and pulled me into a warm hug.

“Aigoo, you’re so handsome now! It’s been so long” She said cutely, holding my face in both of her hands. She pinched my cheeks, just like any other grandmother would.

“Ahh, halmoni, are you saying I wasn’t handsome before?” I said with a pout. Yuri giggled to herself, pulling me back to reality. “Halmoni, this is my friend Yuri"

“Halmoni Annyeonghaseyo!” She said with a low bow, halmoni just nodded her head at Yuri. She looked Yuri up and down before speaking again.

“Aigoo, you are so pretty! Why are you hanging out with a boy like this?” Halmoni remarked. Ouch, my pride hurts a little.

“Halmoni~~~!” I whined, showing her some aegyo.

“Hehe, I leave you kids to your business. Mijoon will be out soon to take your orders” She said, shooing us to a table. Yuri slid into a booth in a secluded corner and I sat on the opposite side from her.

“Halmoni has known me since I started my trainee days. She makes the best ddukkbokki and Mijoon hyung makes the best coffee” I said with a big smile. Yuri grinned at me.

“Wow oppa, this place must be special to you” She quietly.

“Heh, yeah I guess it is. You’re the first person outside my members that I’ve taken here,” I said with a shy smile. It sure is a special place; it’s my first time being with you outside of a schedule. We talked quietly about arbitrary things before hyung came out.

“So what can I get for you two?” Mijoon asked nonchalantly, but all that changed when he realized Yuri was with me.

“Can we have an order of ddukkbokki. I’ll have an espresso and Yuri will have a mocha. Thanks hyung!” I said. After he scribbled our order onto his notepad, he grabbed my wrist and pulled me away from Yuri. “Yah! _______! You’re with the KWON YURI?”

“Yah, hyung calm down! We’re just friends!!! Don’t freak out!!” I whispered back to him.

“Get me an autograph please…free coffee for a month, okay?” He said quietly, and pushed me back to the table.

Our orders came out in no time and we spent the evening talking and getting to know each other. I felt like I was on cloud nine. Dang, I should have asked her out to coffee earlier.

Yuri is amazing! Not only is she absolutely gorgeous, she’s funny. Not to mention she’s totally adorable and the aegyo is just flowing out of her non-stop. Thank the Lord for this beautiful woman in my life.

After a couple of hours of bonding, it was time to go home. We said goodbye to hyung and halmoni. I even got Yuri to sign hyung an autograph. Yes! Free coffee for a month ^^. I sent her home to her dorm, making her promise we would go out again once we were free.
