"Don't open your eyes until I tell you to." His low, melodious voice called out with a hint of amusement. She let out a frustrated sigh, tapping her foot impatiently as she kept her hands over her eyes.

"You're lucky I even agreed to close my eyes and follow you in the first place. If you don't get to the point soon, I'm going to leave." Hai Lian spoke bluntly, never one to hold back. She heard him chuckle softly, a sound that she had always loved, even though she wouldn't ever admit it to anyone.

"Of course I am. Now just give me one more second, I'm almost done." She huffed at his words. Just as she was about to tell him that she was done waiting and drop her hands whether he was done or not, he spoke up again. "Okay, I'm done. You can see now."

"Finally." She replied, dropping her hands to see what was so important that he had to pull her away from her beloved computer games. Her eyes scanned the scene before her with interest, to see what he had prepared.

The gasp came out without her permission and her hand flew up to cover . There was a Christmas tree in the middle of the room, carefully decorated with lights and all sorts of trinkets. There was even a sparkling yellow star lit up on the very top. At the bottom of the tree, two lonely presents stood, wrapped delicately, just like she had seen in so many movies before.

"You told me that you've always wanted to celebrate a Christmas like this but you've never gotten a chance. I know that you probably didn't have anything like this in Shanghai and the other group members were too busy to plan something like this so I figured that I could do this as a substitute." He started rambling, as she turned to look at him, his cheeks staining a light pink. "I tried hard but it probably isn't perfect. If you don't like it, you know, we can just-"

She cut him off but wrapping her arms around him, letting her walls down for a moment. The happy tears were trailing down her pale cheeks as she whispered softly in his ear.

"Thank you..." She trailed off, smiling as he returned her hug hesitantly. "This is the best present I've ever gotten." And even though she wasn't facing him, she could tell that he had a huge grin on his face. She should've been glaring at him or telling him that this was stupid. She was someone who was used to flipping people off and acting like she was tough but this time, she couldn't bring herself to pretend that she didn't care.

She was getting too soft. And it was all his fault. Before he entered her life, she had been fine but the second he swooped in, she had turned into this mess. But was that a bad thing? Micky Yoochun was quickly breaking down the tough exterior of Song Hai Lian and she was pretty sure that it wasn't a bad thing.
