Cut to upstairs in an office.

Everyone is sitting at a round meeting table.

Manager: everyone this is Minho.

Minho: sup.

Minho looks over at CL.

Manager: he will be training here at SM until we feel that he is ready to be in included in SHINee.

Key: wait, so he’s our fifth member?

Manager: not yet. We have signed a contract. 5 months of training then you will all make a comeback with him as your new member. Any questions?

CL: contract?

CL looks at Minho.

Onew: wait.

Everyone turns over to Onew.

Onew: (to minho) let me see your skills.

Minho: what?

Onew: what makes you think you can just enter SHINee without showing us your skills. Good looks isn’t gonna work here.

Minho: dude.

Minho stands up.

Minho: I did not sign up to get harassed.

Onew: you scared?

Minho: what?

Onew: scared that you don’t have talent?

Manager: boys! Enough of this. (to Onew) I decide whos in SHINee alright? Trust me on this. We are gonna make it big. I promise. Now lets go downstairs, ill buy food. Anyone hungry?

Taemin: me!!

Key: me too!

Manager: good. Lets go.

Cut to them at a restaurant.

Manager: so tomorrow is your inkigayo performance. (to onew and CL) Ill drive you back to SM so you to can practice. And after that you have your first variety show. Do good okay?

Everyone: yes!

Manager: (to minho) we will discuss vocal training later.

Minho: whatever.

Manager: after that, we have fan signing then concert in Busan. Then its Sunday. You guys can relax that day.

Taemin: yes! (to Key) did you hear that hyung? We get a break!

Manager: oh wait. Lets do formal introduction.

Taemin: hi! Im maknae taemin!

Manager leaves the table.

Minho: (to CL) so what are you? Our lead singer?

CL: no. im-

Onew: shes my girlfriend.

He leans back in his chair.

Minho: didn’t know idols can have girlfriends now.

CL: its complicated.

Onew: (to minho) and its none of your business.

Minho: okay then. Its not my business, but I am gonna be apart of this team-

Onew: no your not.

Minho: what?

Onew: we don’t need you okay?

Taemin: hyung…..

Onew: yennoe what I really hate about you?

Manager walks over to the table. Everyone becomes quiet.

Manager: so everyone getting along?

The table is quiet.

Manager: okay then……….

Cut to everyone outside of the restaurant.

Manager: okay CL, Minho and Onew is coming back with me to SM. Taemin, Key and Jonghyun, you guys are done for the day.

He hands them money.

Manager: here. Take a cab back.

Key: Kay thanks hyung!

Manager: (to jonghyun) take care of them will you?

Jonghyun: I will.

Key: hyunggg. We got this. don’t worry about us.

Manager: don’t get into trouble! And please don’t go around causing sandals and make sure no one recognizes you!

Taemin: okay hyung.

Key: byeeeee!

Key waves them off.

Manager: okay we are leaving!

CL, Minho and Onew go into the van.

Cut to them in the car.

CL: wait stop here.

Manager: why?

CL: I need to buy something.

Manager stops the car.

CL gets out of the car and Minho follows her.

CL: (to Minho) um what are you doing?

Minho: what? I cant go and buy something too? Jeez.

CL stares at him suspiciously. They both walk into the store.

Minho: sooo, what are you really doing at SM? Don’t tell me you are really that jerk’s girlfriend.

CL: I told you, its complicated.

CL looks through the aisles.

CL: and what was all that about? Trap? Hm. Why are you here?

Minho: its complicated.

CL: okay then. We both have reasons okay?

CL stops right in front of Minho. She turns and looks at him.

CL: get in my way and ruin anything and I swear….

Minho: swear what? your gonna hurt me? (laughs)

CL: psht.

She walks away.

Minho: whats a girl like you doing with him? seriously, idunno why that jerk hates me. But whatever. I wasn’t here to make friends.

CL stops in front of Minho and looks at him again.

CL: you seriously ask way too much questions.

She grabs a medicine bottle and starts walking, pushing minho’s shoulder with her shoulder. Minho smiles.

Minho: you sick?

CL: no. its for my brother. Hes in the army and im just gonna send him a box of necessary stuff while hes there. Yennoe. Just in case.

Minho: I see.

CL walks to the counter and the lady scans the bottle.

CL: got any siblings?

Minho: nope.

CL: parents?

She hands the lady the money.

Minho: my mom, is somewhere. And my dad? Walked out on me when I was 2.

CL: oh. sorry to hear.

Minho: nah its okay. Ive been making it on my own ever since. My mom is never home so ive been living by myself. Not so bad. Just the stupid rent keeps on piling up but whatever.

CL: oh.

Minho: hey I never told you to feel sorry for me.

CL: psht.

She smiles and walks out the door. She is about to open the door to the van.

CL: you are really annoying.

She smiles and walks into the van. Minho stands there and after a few seconds he smiles and follows after her.

Onew: what took you guys so long? We don’t have that much time to practice yennoe.

CL: sorry.

She looks over at Minho and glares at him. He pretends not to see.

Cut to the SM building.

Manager: okay. (to Onew) you and CL go upstairs first and practice. (to Minho) lets go.

Minho: where are we going?

Manager: gonna meet the CEO.

Minho: what?

Manager: okay bye!

He waves CL and Onew off and pulls Minho with him.

CL: hmm. (to Onew) we should go upstairs.

Onew: lets go.

Cut to Onew and CL in the practice room.

Onew: okay so first we are gonna do our performance. Then they are gonna ask me questions like last time and ask me to introduce my girlfriend. Then you are gonna come out.

CL: okay.

Onew: I know you were nervous last time cause it was your first time on stage but this time we prepared for this so..

CL: I kno. Ill do better this time.

Onew: good.

Onew looks at CL.

Onew: well um.

CL: what?

Onew: I kno its gonna make you feel uncomfortable but im gonna-

CL: what?

Onew: I have to kiss you……..

Onew looks away.

Onew: I kno you don’t want to and im not forcing you either….

CL: its okay. Do it for the team.

Onew: what?

CL: for the team. Right?

Onew: oh right. Yea. For the team.

CL: and since this was basically all my fault im just gonna do whatever it takes to not ruin your reputation.

Onew: thanks.

CL: so um.

Onew: what?

CL: well the kiss. Um.... Shouldn’t we practice?

Onew: oh um…

CL: this is just business. Acting remember?

Onew: right. So um. You will be standing and I will stand up and….

He takes CL’s hand. Minho walks to the door and opens it.

Minho: hey CL, want to go get something to-
