Alyssa grew up with Hyunseung and Kikwang in Canada. They lived next door to each other. When they grew a bit older they moved to Korea because both Hyunseung and Kikwang passed the auditions to be in Elite Entertainment. Alyssa went there a year later because she passed the auditions along with her friends Serena, Christiane, and Michelle. Alyssa, Michelle for her talented violin skills, Serena got in as a singer and Christiane got in as a dancer. Although Elite Entertainment was owned by Serena's uncle, the girls wanted to use their talents to get in. Hyunseung and Kikwang were their sunbaenims but the girls knew quiet alot so they didn't need Hyunseung and Kikwang's help to guide them around. Along with balancing with their training they also went to school at Elite Academy which was just next door to Elite Entertainment which made travelling much easier. Elite Academy was a school which mainly focuses on art. It isn't opened for everyone to enter. Most people in there are in there because they either have the talents or scolarship or connections. That explains why usually there would be fans all around the school and headquarters. In the school policy, it is required to wear uniforms clean and neatly to represent the school well. Males were to wear white shirts with black and gold stripped tie, the beige jacket with white outline and school logo imprinted in gold, black pants and dress shoes. Females were to wear also wear the white shirt, black and gold stripped tie, beige jacket with white outline and school logo imprinted in gold, and dress shoes but they wear black plaided skirts, black long socks with flats. Alyssa had friends who had scholarships and talents to Elite Academy. Ben and Kevin were their names. They weren't trying to befriend Alyssa because Alyssa would soon become famous, but they befriended Alyssa because they were friendly and cheerful. They would often hang out and just have normal teenager time before anyone gets famous. After a month in the school, the girls met alot of new people and made new friends. Alyssa became friends with Eunhyuk and Donghae from Super Junior, Amber from f(x), and Junhyung from B2ST, who she found quite attractive. After going around with Serena's uncle, Elite, he introduced them to other trainees from his friend's company, Star. Of course the two names Elite and Star were just fancy name titles for the CEO but they enjoyed being addressed that way. The girls met 2NE1 and SHINee and they taught the girls some skills in becoming famous. Finally half a year later, the girls debuted.
