Heechul’s POV

“We’re here to see SUnny, can you care to explain why she lives with eleven men? It was bad enough that she lived with that Ren guy and now she lives with all of you” SUnny’s mother said clearly annoyed, okey let’s put on some Kim Heechul charm and they will calm down in no time

“Amelia dear, you know I love your daughter to bits right? That she’s like a sister to me?” I questioned them and she nodded hesitantly “Now that’s why she lives with us, do you really think that I would let het live alone after her boyfriend got into the hospital? Now what brother would I be then” I questioned again

“I see your point but” she started but I cut her off

“Allow me to cut you off here umma, there are no buts in this case, Sunny needs to have the protection of all of us” I told her

“Yeah, you’re right Heechul, I’m sorry for getting so upset we only want what’s best for Sunny you know” she told me and I smiled at her

“I want that too, we all want that, they’re really nice boys actually” I said

“They seem like it, right Simon honey?” she questioned her husband who nodded

“They really do” he replied, hehe winning over Sunny’s parents: mission accomplished, this was too easy

“Heechul darling, can I take to you in private” her mother then said and I looked at her suspiciously, what did she want now?

“Sure” I said and led her to my room, she sat down on my bed and sighed and then she looked up at me

“Heechul, what do you think about Sunny’s boyfriend Ren?” she asked me

“He’s a great guy, and actually a close friend of mine, and he really loves Sunny you know, like crazy, I wouldn’t want any other guy for her, besides me he’s the only one that will ever be good enough for her” I told her sincerely

“You’re right about one thing” she started and smiled at me “That you’re one of the few guys that would ever be good enough for her, according to me the only one, Heechul you don’t know how bad I wish that you could be with her” she continued and I stared at her shocked, did she want me together with Sunny? My best friend that was like my little sister?

“Listen, that will never happen, I don’t love her like that and really Ren is better for her. If only you guys could give him a chance then you’ll see that he’s made for her” I said to her and she sighed

“You really think so don’t you?” she questioned and I nodded

“Yes, and you know that I might be one of the persons who know your daughter the best, and then I should know who she fits with and I know she fits with Ren, they’re a match made in heaven, believe me” I assured her

“Okey if you say so then maybe we should give him a chance” she said and I nodded

“It would mean a lot to her” I said and she smiled

“Thanks Heechul, for taking care of her she’s lucky to have you in her life” she said and hugged me but then we heard the door open

“Dad? What are you doing here?” we heard Sunny’s voice question and we both went out to her and the rest of the boys “Mom? You too?” she wondered and they nodded

“Allison told us Ren was at the hospital so we thought we’d visit you” her dad told her and she looked at them suspiciously and then she went up to me and wrapped one of her arms around my waist and I put my arms around her

“Why? You don’t even like Ren, why would you care” she asked them coldly

“We’re sorry honey, maybe we overreacted” her mom said

“Yeah, you sure did” Sunny said annoyed

“Honey, forgive us” her dad pleaded

“No”

“We want to give Ren a second chance” her mom said and I could feel her tense in my arms

“You give him a second chance? If it’s anyone that has the right of doing that then it’s him! He should be giving you a second chance, not the opposite!” she snapped at them, I looked down at her and kissed her hair and then I went up to her parents

“Maybe you should give her a day or two; we’ll try to talk to her” I whispered to them and they nodded

“Thanks, we’ll call you” her mom said

“Yeah, bye” I said and then they left, I closed the door after them and then I turned to Sunny, she looked angry

“You should forgive them, they seemed sincere” I told her but she just shook her head

“No, they put me into this mess so no” she said “I’ll go to my room, don’t come after me” she continued and then she walked out of the living room and soon we heard a door slam closed

Sunny’s POV

“Hey sweetie” Donghae’s voice called out when he entered the room, I immediately hid under the covers, then I felt his weight on the bed as he sat himself down next to me, he my back but I didn’t say anything “They only want what’s best for you, you know” he told me and then I went out from my hiding place and stared at him

“No they don’t, if they would have wanted that then they would have seen that I was happy with Ren and that it was the best for me” I said angrily and Donghae sighed

“Parents make mistakes, they’re not perfect you know” he said seriously

“I know, so then they have to apologize”

“They did, don’t be too hard on them, they’re your parents”

“They have to show that they really mean it, but I don’t wanna talk anymore about it” I muttered

“Okey let’s change the subject then, how was today with JR?” he questioned me and my face twisted

“I love JR, and I don’t wanna hurt him but…” I started and sighed “Maybe that night I was just sad and that led me to jump to conclusions, I don’t know, it’s like my feelings for Ren just increase but the ones for JR, I don’t know” I said sadly, I really loved JR but maybe it was another kind of love “If only I could get a sign or something” I continued and then Donghae pulled me into an embrace

“Things will clear sooner or later, I promise” he assured me “But now sleep, it’s been a long day” he continued and kissed my hair “I love you little princess”

“I love you too fishy”

The next morning I woke up early but all the guys were awake already. I got myself ready for the day and then went out to the kitchen where Ryeowook had made breakfast. It smelled delicious as usual. I sat myself down in between Donghae and Heechul and leant my head on Heechul’s shoulder he smiled and kissed my hair.

“Good morning princess” he said and smiled

“Morning” I mumbled

“Do you have any plans today?” he questioned and I shook my head lightly

“No, what do you have in mind?” I wondered

“I was thinking we could have lunch together at our favourite restaurant” he said and I smiled, a lunch with Heechul was something that I always loved

“Sure”

After breakfast I went to work. I was very distracted when I worked though. I had so many things on my mind. JR, Ren, my parents and then Sam. Why did he have to come to my life all of a sudden? He chose the worst time too. And my parents, if they hadn’t said the things that they did that morning then maybe Ren and I would’ve lived happily together without this whole mess. Sigh…

Around noon and got out from the bakery and went to the restaurant where I was supposed to meet Heechul. I could need some alone time with him now. I arrived first and was led to a table for two. I sat there and waited and lazily flipped through the menu not paying attention to my surroundings.

“Sunny” a voice then said and I looked up, damn, what was he doing here?

“Sam? Why are you here?” I asked him coldly

“I need to talk to you” he replied and sat himself down in front of me

“No you don’t and my friend is coming here any minute” I told him

“Heechul? He’s not coming, we set this up so that I could talk to you” he said and my eyes widened, he couldn’t be telling me the truth, Heechul would never do such thing to me, could he?

“I don’t believe you”

“But it’s true, please Sunny I have to talk to you this is important” he pleaded but I just scoffed

“Sam I already know what you’re going to say, you’re just wasting our time” I told him

“Believe me I won’t say what you think I will, if I do you can leave, just give me a chance” he begged and I sighed

“Fine, but if you start talking about what I think you will then I won’t be afraid of walking out on you” I warned him and he nodded

“That’s fair”

“Yeah”

“Anyways, Heechul and Donghae paid me a visit yesterday and they told me about your situation with Minki and his friend” he started and I looked at him surprised. I had not expected him to talk about that for sure “And Donghae asked me to talk to you, to remind you what you want from a relationship because let’s be honest I know that very well” he continued and I was seriously in deep shock

“Why? I mean why would you do that?” I asked not understanding his motives

“Because I love you so much that I want you to be happy even if it’s not with me” he replied

“Oh, so you really think you know what I want from a relationship?” I asked him

“Yes, admit that we had some very good times when we were together, I made you happy and I made sure to notice the things I did to make you happy, you know I treated you well” he said seriously and he was right

“Yes, you did and we really had some good times, I was happy” I told him sincerely and he smiled, but it was kind of a sad smile

“Yeah, and now I’ll tell you what you want, you want a guy that no matter what will put you first, a guy that will text you good morning and good night when he’s not with you, protect you from everything and anything, a guy that won’t be different with his friends” he started but then I had to cut him off

“You were different with your friends” I pointed out

“But I changed didn’t I?” he questioned and I nodded, he had changed for me

“Yeah you did, thanks”

“And I also changed that I hung around girls a lot, you hate that in a relationship, and you want a guy that isn’t afraid of showing his emotions, a guy that is willing to do the most cheesy things for you” he said and then I came to think of something

“I remember when you put cute little notes in my pockets, my locker, my bags, everywhere, I loved that” I whispered and then that sad smile appeared on his face again

“Yeah, god I loved you, still do” he said and I frowned “Do you know why I cheated on you?” he then questioned and I shook my head

“I was too angry to let you explain yourself” I replied and he nodded

“And then you left for Seoul, I remember” he started and sighed “She tricked me you know, she told me that she had seen you with Jesse, I got angry, I believed her, I was so stupid believing her, I knew how jealous of you she was but still I believed her. So then when she made her move I went along with it, feeling so hurt thinking about how you were with someone else” he said sadly and I just stared at him, he hadn’t done it on purpose?

“You thought I cheated on you?” I asked and he nodded sadly

“Crazily enough yeah”

“But why? I loved you to bits” I said not understanding

“You’ll laugh when you hear it” he started and let out a small chuckle “I had always been afraid of losing you. It didn’t make any sense why you were with me. You were such a good girl, always studied, had good grades, never did anything wrong and I was the opposite, never studied and had bad grades and I messed up all the time. I couldn’t understand why you had chosen me. I just waited for the day when you would find someone better and leave me. So when she told me you were with Jesse, the good boy, I thought that day had arrived, the day when you’d found someone better, someone worthy you” he told me and I felt my eyes get misty, why couldn’t he understand that I loved him like crazy during the time we were together?

“Sam… I didn’t care about that you weren’t a “good boy”, I just cared about how you were to me, how you made me feel, it makes me heartbroken that you thought I would find myself someone better. I loved you and you only” I told him and he sighed

“If only I could’ve understood that then, then I never would’ve believed her”

“Yeah, but now we’re here and there is nothing we can do about it” I stated and he nodded

“I know, but Sunny, can we at least be friends? I’ve missed you” he said shyly, this was the Sam I had fallen in love with four years ago

“Of course, and I’ve missed you too” I replied and grabbed his hand in mine, he smiled

“I’m so glad this is cleared now” he said and I had to agree “Now let’s go back to your problem, why don’t you tell me about Minki a little bit?” he continued and I nodded

“He’s great, he always takes care of me, he’s an idol but he always no matter what makes time for me. Even if he can’t meet me maybe at all during a day he always texts me. He’s very loving and caring but he is kind of hard to get close to, he doesn’t smile a lot. He doesn’t think he should smile just to please others” I started but then Sam cut me off

“Like you then” he said and I looked at him confused

“What do you mean with that?” I wondered and he chuckled

“You never smiled unless you were truly happy, if you were pissed off or sad you showed that, you never tried to please anyone, why do you think I always knew exactly how you felt? You’re like an open book Sunny” he told me and I realized he was right “His friend then? Is he the same or?” he then questioned

“No, JR smiles a lot, it’s like he’s always happy, I can read him though so I know when he’s only faking, he’s the leader of NU’EST so I guess he thinks that he has to please people” I said

“You don’t like people that are always happy and don’t show their real emotions, remember when you got mad at me because I smiled when I my dad died despite that I was very sad?” he asked me and I nodded, I remembered that very well

“Yeah, I yelled at you and told you to freaking cry” I said and smiled at the memory

“Anything more about this JR guy, how is he?”

“He’s a very easy person to be with, he treats me like his princess, you should see us, we fight like an old married couple” I said and chuckled but I saw that Sam frowned

“There is a difference between fighting like a married couple and fighting like siblings, are you sure you know which one that you really do?” he asked

“No I’m not, how do you know then?” I questioned

“You’ll notice, the next time you fight with him you’ll see” he told me and smiled

“I hope so, but he’s just really sweet and caring, always trying to be there for everybody”

“You know I think that you would fit with Minki the most, to me it sounds like that JR could be an awesome best friend to you but that Minki is the one to be your boyfriend” he said to me seriously

“Why do you think that?”

“He sounds more appropriate to you, he seem to treat you like I did and you loved me so yeah”

“True”

“Remember you deserve the best and the best only”

“I know but listen Sam, my lunch is over now, I have to go to work” I said and stood up and he did the same

“Take care sweetheart” he said and went up to me and hugged me

“You too” I replied and then I kissed his cheek “Bye Sam” I said and left the restaurant.

The things Sam had told me sure had made me think. And I believed he was right. Ren was probably the one for me. Maybe I just didn’t want to let JR go because I was afraid of losing him? I had to see Ren.

OMG ALLOW ME TO FANGIRL!!! NOT OVER YOU IS SO FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! I was hooked already in the begining with "Ooooo" thing xD the lyrics are so beautiful! And Minhyun's voice. that was a song made for him! ANd Ren's voice, OMG!  And despite my unconditional love for Ren I have to say that the thing I loved the most about the song was JR's rap! I got goosebumps! It's so freakin awesome! He's by far my favourite rapper!
