Seventh Peak: Restless
Description
Welcome to Seventh Peak, my friend.
Be warned, Seventh Peak is no place for family-fun time. Located between the suburban villages of Sixth Acres and the skyscrapers of Ninth City, Seventh Peak takes ‘sin city’ to a whole new level. Streets named after demons and sins, Seventh Peak is populated with murderers and said-to-be convicts, billionaires who have reached the top, beggars who are at rock-hard-bottom, and ‘middle-class’ who have no care in the world. Seventh Peak is said to be haunted with eternal malice; once you’re in you can never get out, unless you die. When people walk the streets, no one expects to live another day, no one expects to retain all they have when they get home. Don’t fret, though, there is still a bit of hope for this city as everyone has observed it still isn’t in ruins, on the contrary, it’s one of the richest cities in the whole Calm Lands. Although it is rare for people to visit or move to Seventh Peak, some have the misfortune to be raised without knowing the consequences of this city, some simply don’t believe the “rumours” and are confident enough to enter the premises by themselves, while some come here for “solitude” (God knows what kind of solitude they are talking about). Some of these people are nowhere to be found now, while some have faced a better fate.
The following humans would be taking the main roles for this tale:
A tall blond man with chiselled features, Him Chan found himself in Seventh Peak after a colleague from school suggested that he take up his profession there. Coming from the Twelfth Settlement, Him Chan was raised not knowing about the Five Cities. Even as he reached his high school and university years, his school forbid the mention of the Five Cities. It was only when his friends and classmates mentioned it did he become aware of the bigger world. He is mostly naïve and outgoing.
A young woman who left her parents in Thirteenth Luck when she was just 7 years old and ran off to Fifth Hook with her best friend for 3 years. She moved to Seventh Peak when she was 12 and is staying for about 9 years now, one of the longest numbers of years anyone could achieve in their stay at the cursed city. Ae Sol is considered a middle class, earning enough to bring the food to the table. She works part-time as a waitress at a local and a secretary for one of the top earning billionaires in the city. Raised as she is, Ae Sol has learned to stand up for herself and to help others stand up on their own, or at least when she felt like helping them. Ae Sol has a very, you could say, irritating personality. She does what she likes, as what this city has taught her. But like everyone else, she has already prepared herself for the worst.
Foreword
Annyeong guys~ whutever09 here~ Kufufu. . .
First thing's first, reader discretion is advised. I don't want to Rate this whole story because I won't be putting too much adult stuff in here, but I guess it's PG-15 or something along those lines. There will be a bit of a few "mature" scenes here and there so. . . yeah~
Anyway, I got this idea when I was walking down the street in the middle of the night after I had finished reading "Demon Witch". Lewl. The sounds of the car zooming past just stimulated my brain and, poof, this idea here came out. It's main point is the city, honestly; the city that is said to have no limits, to have no regards of morals and have thrown their ideas of what is right and what is wrong. If a city like this existed, what would become of it's people? What would happen to the people who are not aware of the dangers of the world? And so on and so forth~
I'll try to update as much as possible~ I'm confident of staying with this fic. It's actually a change of genre for me since I like the fluffly-cute-love-story kind of thing too much. This fic is more of serious, but since I'll be retaining HimChan's babo-commander personality, a few fluffy-ish things would be showing. IDK xD
Sorry for the long foreword~ Hope you'll enjoy it~
