Article #1

In the weeks after auditioning, according to the well-known author of a popular book, Lady Jane van Dijk, it turns out that a 13-year-old Lolly Wright was contacted by the Dutch author for auditions.

But in the weeks after auditioning, the girl was randomly picked out of 12 millions of book fans to write a different theme for Lady Jane's book.

Now at 14, in her own words, Lolly tells the story of her experience as a mini author of "the year".

The Beginning

On April 17, 2021, we had just come home from the Huntington Library or something like that, and Mummy brought in a package that was left outside when we were away. It was one of my new journals to write about in. I thought of using it like any other diary. But something came into my mind.

I looked all around my Mummy and Daddy's bedroom and listened as well. It was to make sure no one in the house knew what I was doing. And yes, including my dog as well.

I ran over to my bedroom to grab a pen and then back. I thought about doing this for a long time.

In late Winter, early Spring, I actually thought about the exact same story, since after watching Artemis Fowl, which is one of my favorite movies currently.

At first it was just one girl, but then I thought of another girl liking the same boy.

And then, just after watching a behind-the-scenes video about Artemis on YouTube, I decided to make an "Artemis Fowl" theme for the book.

And I dare tell you guys, it was so much fun! I first wrote:

"Warning: the story written here is all fictional but realistic. It isn't true when an Irish actor is reunited with an American girl. Reader discretion is advised."

What I really liked about writing this was I put in dates, so I'd know when it was written.

And I looked at myself that I was going to have so much fun while writing the story out.

Traveling with the Journal

I sometimes go to Mexico with my family at the end of the week, and then stay over during the weekend.

In May, however, I used my time to write my journals. I remembered crying for Artemis Fowl on the night a couple days after watching the movie, like about 4 days.

Since it was July at the time, we had to leave on Thursday, because our dog Lila was absolutely terrified of the fireworks.

Anyways, I used my time wisely and wrote...a lot. Whenever I write, my thoughts tend to run wild and are put in the journal. And I wrote more all Summer.

But a little further in July, I wrote a little more slower and took a break.

In August, I decided to write more.

On August 17, 2021, I finished the first half of the story. I was more than excited to close my journal with its first final entry.

Second Half, Favorite Entries, and Pain From the Guilt

I asked Keira Juno for some help, and she responded that she wanted some of her key moments in the story, since she was in the place at the same time where the Artemis Fowl filming was taking place.

By the time I was in school, I was really determined to finish the story.

I wrote some parts in my William Shakespeare themed journal. But it wasn't the same as my spiral journal that had my initial letter for my name.

And so on October 4, 2021, I finally decided to write the rest of the story on Google Docs. And before I created a slide for the story.

I even had the name of the book written in there. And then I was ready to put everything on the slide.

My favorite entries from the story are May 30, June 22, August 16, and The Big Misunderstanding.

I was so proud of myself for rewriting a whole story for a popular author. She was proud of me too.

But within days and days after finding out about this documentary, I realized that I used names of people that actually existed.

I tried to ignore the fact that it wasn't real and that it was just a story. But the guilt gave me so much pain, especially at night.

I looked at my work...and decided to rewrite the story.

Rewriting a Whole Story

In November, I created a new slideshow and started rewriting the story.

I even added some new passages as well.

I felt like I was really doing the right thing and forgetting about the first version I had created.

Finally Finished?

By the end of December, I was finally finished.

I didn't realize that there were a lot of different themes for the story.

I even found the one with the original font and theme. But, yes! I am finally finished with writing the story.

It was so much fun making this project.

I hope some of my Snap'N Post followers will enjoy it, as much as some of my friends did.

Article #2

Lady Jane's book Side by Side, Eye to Eye, has been sold to billions of readers across the globe.

But there was one young girl who was chosen out of 12 million fans to write a different theme for the story.

The girl's name is Lolly Wright.

How Did it Begin?

In May of 2020, the famed Dutch author Lady Jane posted on her Instagram, Facebook, and VSCO that she would be holding auditions for a book club called "De Amsterdamse Boekenclub".

But people are asking, "How did she aspire herself to make this book?"

We spoke with Lady Jane on Zoom.

"In June of 2019, I was looking at a picture of me, my sister Katheryn and my brothers Gottfried and Kristoff, while we were at the filming for the original movie 'War of the Wars' based off of my original story, 'To: Charlie, From: Bernadette'.

We were celebrating 10 years of traveling to Belfast and London, and my sister Katheryn came in and said, 'Jane, you got a message from a 14-year-old girl from Covina!'

'What's her name?' I asked.

And Katheryn said it was Keira Juno."

But new-comer fans wanted to know the REAL story about the 2012 book. Lady Jane posted an article about that.

As it turned out, Lady Jane saw that photo of her, Katheryn, Gottfried, and Kristoff and started to remember that her 9-year old cousin Anais had a crush on Will Canning, the original actor of the sibling Jack O'Ceileachair.

"I thought, 'I think I should make a book about a girl having a crush on a child actor.'

But while my idea was developing, I saw two twin sisters walking down my path.

And then I thought of two twins having a crush on a child actor.

My development grew and grew.

But in the summer of 2010, right after seeing the premiere of the movie 'War of the Wars', I noticed there was a flashback about Rosie's past.

I thought that maybe one of the twins could have a past they didn't know about, as if one of them had amnesia or something."

A 20-year-old Lady Jane got straight to work on writing the story.

Then on April 30, 2012, the book was released to the public, but it was entitled in the start, A Tale of Twins.

But just after a couple of months, some of the parents of young readers have reported the book to have a bit of "mature content".

"I asked those that reported my book what made it so mature to young readers.

They responded that there was material linked to '', Ashley said 'Damn it', throughout some of the book.

I never meant to make a book about things like that! But I am known for making romance and thriller books."

Lady Jane thought about rewriting the story for a very long time, until she decided to rewrite the book and then published it in the summer of 2016.

And then in 2019, Lady Jane published a Disney Channel version of Side by Side, Eye to Eye.

A New Theme?

Lolly Wright was 13 years old when she got a text from Lady Jane.

"I heard she started to keep diaries, so I thought, 'She might be good enough to rewrite my story with a different theme.'

And she responded with a happy face emoji."

We spoke with Lolly about her experience of rewriting a whole book from Lady Jane.

"I wasn't sure how to rewrite a whole story.

So I had the help of Keira Juno, who had read the original book and gave me some of her key moments that actually helped me write the story.

I loved how things turned out in the end. But later on, I began to worry.

The reason why I began to worry was because there was a crush I have, and the story was starring my crush.

I didn't want him to know that he was in the story, so I decided to rewrite the story by changing the theme, but leaving the words I wrote.

Lady Jane then helped me rewrite the story, since she understood how I was feeling."

By then, Lolly and Lady Jane published the story on the popular fan fiction website LeapFiction.com, and Google Slides.

To end this issue, some people have been waiting and waiting to have a film, and to our surprise, there is a film in the making.

Keira Juno, Isabelle Lee, and Artemis Fowl are some of Ireland, America, and especially Genovia's popular teenage actors.

Keira Juno said she and Isabelle saw Artemis in the auditioning process on December 31, 2018.

"Artemis auditioned as Ronan Ó Foghladh pretty well. Little did he know he was going to get the part.

After months and months of waiting, the results were in.

On the way home from school, I said that we had to talk to him. Artemis was with me, kissing away.

His dad came in and said that everyone was waiting. Artemis thought he was in trouble.

My family could tell I was getting defensive with him. And then he talked very fast just so that he'd 'get out of being in trouble'.

And then the phone rang.

My mom answered it and said, 'Artemis, it's for you!'

As Artemis hung up the phone, I saw he was crying, or about to.

And then he said 'Thank you', while giving a hug to me, and cried like a big baby...in the most darlingest way.

And then he was too excited to go to bed.

He ran almost all over the place, shouting, 'I'm so happy, I'm so happy!'

And I'm happy because he's happy"
