Jiyong and I walked hand-in-hand towards the dance studio. All the while, staff members stared and pointed. I couldn't help but blush at the attention and stare at the floor. But Jiyong stood tall and proud. When we reached the dance studio, Jiyong held the door open for me and followed me as I entered the room.

Inside was an eager group of 4 men. When they saw us, sly grins spread across their faces.

“Well, well, well,” Seungri said coming up to us. “If it isn't the two lovebirds.” I blushed and Seungri chuckled as he ruffled my hair. Seungri then turned to Jiyong. “When you didn't come home last night, my thoughts couldn't help but wander...OW!”

Seungri's sentence cut off when Jiyong flicked his forehead. “Babo,” Jiyong said simply, before taking my hand and sitting down next to me.

“Well, at least you have someone to protect you from the creeper that sat outside your house,” Seungri said. I nodded slowly. I had forgotten about that already.

“Actually,” Jiyong said. “That was me....” Everyone looked at him funnily.

“Why were you creeping on Min Ah,” Daesung asked.

“I...I missed her,” Jiyong said sheepishly. I guess most people would be weirded out. But I couldn't help but laugh. I pressed my face against Jiyong's shoulder and continued to laugh. Soon everyone joined in. Jiyong still stood there awkwardly. When we all calmed down Seungri spoke up again.

“So you're really saying something didn't happen?”

“I have a hard time believing that,” Daesung put in.

“Of course something happened,” Seunghyun said. “They're holding hands.”

“Nothing but a simple confession happened last night,” Jiyong said. The boys looked between us in shock.

“So you're saying, that after all this time of waiting for each other, the night your feelings are put out, nothing happens?” Seungri asked slowly and disbelievingly. Jiyong and I looked at each other and then turned back to them and nodded in sync.

“Did you at least have a kiss?” Youngbae asked. I found it comical how let down the boys were acting. This time though, Jiyong nodded slightly.

“But can you believe it wasn't Min's first kiss?!” Jiyong exclaimed. Seungri rushed forward.

“What?!” Jiyong nodded enthusiastically. I blushed slightly and rolled my eyes. Youngbae came up and sat next to me. He smiled at me and nudged my arm playfully.

“How's it feel? You finally got the guy.” I laughed.

“It feels pretty good.” We smiled at each other. Suddenly Ji's arm s around my shoulder and he peeked over at us.

“Not trying to steal my girl right?” Youngbae smiled and shook his head. Jiyong broke into a smile too.

“This is how it should've been a long time ago,” Daesung said. Everyone nodded in agreement.

“This is how it will be for a long time,” Jiyong said, kissing my cheek.

• E P I L O G U E

Jiyong and Min Ah entered the cafe together, hand in hand. A few people stared at them, but they didn't pay any attention to them.

“You can go order first,” Jiyong said. “I need to use the bathroom real quick.” Jiyong walked towards the back of the cafe and Min Ah walked to the counter. But before she could reach the counter a hand came down on her shoulder.

She looked over and met the kind, aging eyes of Dong Woon. Min Ah smiled.

“Dong Woon, what are you doing here?”

“I'm here on a date.”

“Oh? Me too actually,” Min Ah laughed slightly.

“Is it with..?” Dong Woon trailed off, but Min Ah knew who he was talking about. With a smile, Min Ah nodded. Dong Woon smiled in return. “Congratulations.”

“Thank you.” Min Ah gave Dong Woon a slight bow.

“Well, I should go now,”Dong Woon said slowly turning away.

“Oh, wait. Dong Woon what ever happened to the girl you liked?” Min Ah asked curiously.

Dong Woon smiled brightly, “We ended up getting married. We're about to go pick up our son from college for a family day.”

“Dong Woon-ah?” A woman's voice called out. She stood by the door, and looked at us curiously. “Are you coming?”

“Ah, neh. One more second, sweetie.” Dong Woon turned to me and smiled. “It was nice seeing you Min Ah. Have fun on your date.” Dong Woon turned and joined the woman at the door.

"Whos that?" she asked quietly.

"A friend," Dong Woon replied with a smile.

“Min?” I turned around and met Jiyong's eyes.

“Who was that?”

“He's a friend.” I smiled as Jiyong pulled me into a hug.

Daesung and Jiyong were right. This is how it should've been a long time ago, and this is how it will be for a long time.

yet I don't want it to end quite yet...
