I understand your solitude, I see your shadow.

Description

"The first time I met Kim Kibum, there was an awkward atmosphere around us. The words 'hate' and 'revenge' seemed to come out of his mouth, while the words 'help' and 'freedom' blinded him. He was trapped; not only in the country, but also in his very own mind. When I realized that he was trapped, I noticed that nobody was going to save him... except for me."

--

After the disasters that have been occurring throughout North Korea, the country was in desperate need of help. The famine, that was once not as harsh as it used to be, double up its death toll, leaving 4 out of 5 kids malnourished. Slowly, countries began to help them; from places such as the U.S to their very own rivals, South Korea.

Kim Jonghyun is a student in a youth group who voluntarily goes on a trip to North Korea to help supply food aid to the needy. While he stays there, he faces the harsh reality he was unknown of; the brainwashing, the prison camps, the famine. Yes, he's seen it all. Most important, he faces the biggest challenge of all: Trust.
