Update: I have removed some chapters from this story. After awhile, I have decided that I was not happy with the direction of these chapters. I will be revising them and reuploading them.

Foreword
In the picturesque city of China, during the late 1980s, lived two young souls named Ren Cheng and Mei Lin. Their love blossomed like the cherry blossoms in spring, but the conservative traditions of their families pulled them apart. Bound by filial duty, they were forced to go their separate ways, leaving behind a love that had never truly died.
As the years passed, both Ren Cheng and Mei Lin married different partners and started their own families. Their lives took different paths, but the memories of their lost love lingered in the corners of their hearts, silently weaving the destinies of their children.
