Jun-myeon turned to Serie, leading her towards his office. "Come, let me show you around the floor first."

As they walked together, Jun-myeon shared some basic information about their department's structure and introduced her to several employees along the way.

Some of them just glared at her, and some of them smiled at her and some of them just ignored her.She shrugged it off, just walking alongside Jun-myeon. 

Jun-myeo introduced the other team members. They are Sehun, Jong In, Minseok and Na Eun. 

Sehun, the youngest of the bunch, greeted them with a warm smile. His eyes lit up when he saw Serie , and he quickly extended his hand for a firm handshake. "Nice to meet you, Serie," he said, his voice deep and resonant.

Jong-in, who seemed more introverted than the others, offered a polite nod before returning to his work. Minseok waved hello from his desk, typing away on his keyboard. Lastly, Na-eun, the only female member of the team, stood up from her seat and walked over to greet them with a bright smile.

"Welcome to our team, Serie," she said, extending her hand as well.

Jun-myeon filled Serie in on each person's role within the team, explaining how they complement each other's skills.Sehun engaged in friendly small talk, eager to make Serie feel welcome. Jong-in, although quieter, nodded in acknowledgment. Minseok shared a few friendly words while managing his tasks. Na-eun, with her vivacious energy, made Serie feel like a valued part of the team. 

She noticed how close they were, both professionally and personally, which made her feel even more welcomed into their group dynamic.

Everything is fine here , getting used to the new faces . A bit overwhelming, but I'm managing. 😊

Baekhyun's smiled as he read her message, appreciating her resilience.

Baekhyun:

You've got this, trust me. Just be yourself, and they'll love having you there.

Serie:

I hope so😁

How about you? You're going out for lunch with some clients, right?

Baekhyun:

Just the usual CEO stuff. 😌And yes I got a meeting with some clients. Hope it goes smooth.

Serie:

Everything will be fine, don't worry.

Baekhyun:

Don't worry too much about me, baby girl. Just focus on settling in and making new friends there.

The endearing term "baby girl" brought a warm flush to Serie's cheeks. She couldn't help but smile. 

They continued chatting for a bit longer, and as the conversation gradually wound down, Serie sighed softly. With a contented smile lingering on her lips, she shifted her focus back to her work, carrying with her the warmth of their exchanged words.

Baekhyun wrapped up his meeting with the clients, feeling pretty good about it.The rest of the day unfolded in a flurry of work for both him and Serie.

They decided to have dinner at Baekhyun's parents' place and stay overnight and Serie was excited, looking forward to seeing her father who was also there.

After the workday wrapped up, Serie started packing her bag.Just then, her phone rang, 
"Hey, quickly come to my office," Baekhyun's voice came through.

"Sure thing, be right there Sir" Serie replied playfully, a smile on her face. She made her way through the office toward Baekhyun's office as colleagues trickled out, leaving the office in a quiet hum.

As Serie entered, Baekhyun stood up from his seat and walked over to her.

"Why did you call me here? We should have gone straight to the parking lot together," Serie said, her eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"About that, baby... Actually, I have another meeting. I thought it was postponed, but it's not. So I have to stay," Baekhyun explained, a hint of apology in his eyes.

"But the office hours are over now," Serie questioned, a quizzical expression on her face.

"Yes, but you know office hours don't apply to me. I have to meet them today somehow," Baekhyun clarified, a slightly troubled look crossing his face.

"Okay, then I'll wait until you're done," Serie suggested, her tone understanding.

"No, I called John. He'll take you to my parents', " Baekhyun informed her.

Serie hesitated, "Let's just go together after the meeting. I'll stay until you're done."

"It's just wasting time, baby. You'll be bored. And I don't even know how much time it'll take. So be a good girl and go with John, hmm?" Baekhyun said, giving her a tender smile.

"But I'll—" Serie couldn't finish her sentence because Baekhyun quickly gave her a peck on the lips.

"Just listen to me. I really don't want you to be here bored to death," Baekhyun said, his fingers gently caressing her upper arm.

"Alright then," Serie agreed, a mix of understanding and a subtle pout playing on her features.

"Hi, Mrs. Byun," Serie greeted, a blend of respect and genuine fondness evident in her voice.

"What, Mrs. Byun? Call me 'Mother' now," Baekhyun's mother insisted, her eyes twinkling with a playful warmth.

"Ah, alright, M-Mother," Serie stammered slightly, a mixture of shyness and happiness washing over her. Now, she had someone to call 'Mother,'
 a realization that brought a certain warmth to her heart.

"Let's go in. Baekhyun already called me and said he would be late," Baekhyun's mother announced, leading Serie toward the the home.

Entering the house, Serie was met with the warm embraces of both her father and Baekhyun's father, the genuine smiles on everyone's faces created an immediate sense of belonging for Serie.

In the living room, they settled into comfortable chairs. Serie enthusiastically shared stories about the places they visited in Barcelona, her eyes sparkling with excitement. And she 
presented the thoughtful gifts they had brought with them. 

Amid the stories, Baekhyun's father chuckled warmly. Baekhyun's mother wore a contented smile, noticing the bond growing between her son and Serie. Serie's father exchanged knowing glances with Baekhyun's father, silently recognizing the joy their children brought to each other's lives.

Walking around, memories of the small moments before becoming Baekhyun's wife flooded her mind.She felt a sense of warmth, a gentle happiness in this space that now belonged to both of them. The room, once just his, was now theirs.

Her gaze fell upon a framed photo capturing a candid moment, a surprise twinkled in her eyes. Unaware that Baekhyun had framed a photo of them, a beautiful smile bloomed on her face,the unexpected sweetness of this gesture added a touch of warmth to the room, turning the ordinary into something special.

After her brief tour, Serie decided to take a relaxing shower. Changing into her comfy pyjamas, she couldn't resist the allure of Baekhyun's bed. Although she had sat on it before, lying down freely felt different, and a content smile adorned her face.The comfort of the bed quickly embraced her, and the exhaustion of the day caught up with her, and before she knew it, she drifted into a peaceful sleep.

After a while a sensation on her feet stirred her. Groggy and still half-asleep, she moved her feet, thinking little of it. The tickling persisted, and in her sleepy haze, she imagined a spider crawling. Startled, Serie shot up, only to find the culprit was none other than her husband, Baekhyun.

"Oh, it's you," Serie sighed in relief as she recognized him, noticing his wet hair and pajamas. She couldn't help but feel comforted by his familiar presence.

"Why? Did you dream of someone else?" Baekhyun, furrowing his eyebrows, teased. 

"Hmm, it's a secret," Serie replied with a mischievous glint in her eyes as she enjoyed the light banter.

"Was I handsome in your dream?" Baekhyun asked with a smug smile knowing that Serie is just messing with him. Serie couldn't resist smirking in response.

"I never said it's you," she teased back, adding an extra layer of mystery to her response.

"What! Are you telling me that you were dreaming of someone else when you have a model-like husband?" Baekhyun playfully accused dramatically. 

"You know... what I saw had lots of legs," Serie said with a dreamy expression, intending to tease Baekhyun.

"What the ," Baekhyun exclaimed, genuinely confused. Serie chuckled, relishing his perplexed reaction.

"Can you guess?" Serie asked, enjoying the playful game.

"I don't know," Baekhyun deadpanned, his puzzled expression deepening.

"Just try," Serie insisted. 

"I really don't want to guess, your dreams are weird," Baekhyun said, clearly finding the whole conversation bewildering.

"You silly, it's a spider," Serie revealed, nudging him gently.

"You dream of spiders and enjoy it?" Baekhyun asked, clearly grossed out .

"Nooo, I just made the whole thing up. I just thought a spider was crawling on my foot earlier when you tickled me," Serie admitted, bursting into laughter.

"Stupid me, I was imagining a human with lots of legs," Baekhyun said, stifling a laugh, his eyes crinkling at the corners.

"Eww! That's so disgusting," Serie exclaimed, feigning exaggerated disgust. 

"Enough with this 'lots of legs,' I am hungry," Baekhyun declared, shifting the conversation. 

"Me too, but Baekhyun, I want to dry my hair," Serie said.

"Ah, I'll get the hair dryer," Baekhyun said, disappearing into the closet. He quickly returned, holding the hair dryer.

"Let me do it," Baekhyun suggested, turning Serie to face the headboard.

"What a sweet husband I have," Serie remarked playfully as Baekhyun began to dry her hair.

Baekhyun chuckled, playfully ruffling her hair. "Were you tired? You were sleeping like a baby when I came in."

"Hmm, I was tired," Serie confessed.

Baekhyun raised an eyebrow, his lips curving into a teasing smile. "So tired already after just one day at work?"

Serie turned slightly, looking at him with a smile. "I think it's because I was home for so long, and I got used to that. Just a couple of days, and I'll be fine," Serie explained, a warm smile on her face. Baekhyun continued to dry her hair, the simple act carrying a sense of intimacy as they enjoyed the quiet moments together.

"Hmm, all done," Baekhyun said, turning off the dryer. 

"I'll dry your hair," Serie said, getting up from the bed.

"No, it's fine. It'll dry quickly. I am really hungry, let's just go and eat," Baekhyun said, already on his way to the door.

They both headed to the dining area, where the aroma of a delicious dinner greeted them. The table was set,The air was filled with laughter,  and the clinking of utensils as they enjoyed a hearty dinner together.
