Little rabbit

Dara is wrapped in her comforter rolling on the bed because of discomfort. For the past few days she has been nauseated and has been vomiting frequently and she hated it. Today was exceptionally difficult. Her roommates Minzy and Chaerin had already left for work and she was still struggling to get out of bed.

She heard someone entering their house key followed by the sound of the password being accepted. She thought it was probably her cousin Bom who came. Her two roommates may have alerted her unni about her current predicament. Her thoughts were interrupted by the gentle knock on her open door.

“What is wrong with my poor Tokki?” Choi Seung Hyun stood in front of her bedroom door.

“Tabi!” She cried out upon seeing her boyfriend.

He immediately went to her and sat on her bed.

“The girls called me and told me you’re sick. Chaerin wouldn’t get off the phone unless I promise her that I’ll come and check on you,” he recounted.

Dara sat up and hugged Seung Hyun and buried her face on his chest. Somehow his clean shower fresh scent comforted her.

“Where did you come from? Why do you smell like you just showered?” Dara asked suspiciously but she still continued hugging him.

“I was at the gym working out when your friends bombarded me with phone calls. I had to take a shower before coming here,” he reasoned out. He lay down on the bed so she can be more comfortable.

“Ok that’s fine. Why do you frequent the gym? You don’t need to have abs or anything,” she said while still snuggling to him.

“You’re the one who said I should be a little fit,” he reminded her.

“You’re fit enough. You’re a chef you can be a little on the round side I don’t mind. You don’t have to go there daily. A lot of girls will be gawking at you. I can already imagine how they try so hard to catch your attention,” she muttered.

“Why are we talking about non-existent fan girls in the gym,” he said then chuckled.

“I need to puke!” she blurted and immediately run to the bathroom.

Seung Hyun followed her and he gently massaged her back and held her hair up.

“I think I should take you to the hospital,” he suggested. She nodded in agreement. He carried her back to bed after she rinsed with water.

“But you need to eat first. My tokki is so thin,” he commented.

“Can I just snuggle with you? I feel so much better just smelling you,” she said.

“I actually brought you your favorite,” he said before exiting her room then coming back with a polystyrene bowl. “I got you your favorite Takgalbi with cheese,” he exclaimed and presented the food to her.

Dara immediately covered her nose and run up to the toilet to vomit.

“Again?” Seung Hyun said as he followed her to the bathroom.

“Get that away from me. It stinks,” she cried out then continued with her vomiting fit.

“But isn’t this your favorite?” he asked.

“I don’t know why but it just smells really awful to me,” Dara
