Fallin' in love [CURRENTLY EDITING]

Moon hung high in the sky, casting a pale glow over the landscape as they finally finished. Exhaustion washed over them, but they found solace in each other's embrace, their intertwined bodies radiating a comforting warmth against the chilly night air. In that fleeting moment, the rest of the world faded into obscurity, as the intensity of their shared love consumed them completely, leaving nothing else to matter.

Silence draped over them like a cozy blanket as they basked in the blissful aftermath. Jimin's fingers traced the curves of Minjeong's exposed skin, eliciting a shiver from her as she melted into her touch.

Jimin's mind began to drift, consumed by a gnawing sense of guilt that crept up on her like a shadow. With each passing moment, the weight of it doubled down, threatening to suffocate her. She tried to push it away, to focus on the moment and the sensations coursing through her body, but the guilt lingered like a stain on her conscience. The pleasure that had moments ago consumed her now felt tainted, as if her own desires were betraying her. It was a battle she fought within herself, torn between the intensity of her own longing and the shame that came with it.

"Minjeong," she began tentatively, "do you ever feel like this is wrong?" Her heart raced in her chest as she awaited Minjeong's response, the weight of her own doubts suffocating her. She knew what society said about them, the whispers and judgment that awaited them outside their private haven. But in that moment, all that mattered was Minjeong's answer, and the intensity of the emotions that bound them together.

Jimin's heart stuttered in her chest as Minjeong's fingers tenderly brushed against her cheek, the warmth of her touch sending a jolt sensation through her body. Minjeong's face softened with sympathy and worry, as if she could sense Jimin's inner pain. "No, never," she replied firmly, her voice strong. "Why would you even think that?" The words were soothing to Jimin's battered soul, a reassurance that the love they shared was real and valid, regardless of what the world might say. It was a moment of absolute intimacy, with their unsaid understanding tangible in the air.

Jimin hesitated, her mind a storm of conflicting thoughts and emotions. How could she put into words the turmoil she felt inside, the weight of societal expectations and the fear of being ostracized for their love? "I don't know," she said at last, her voice low and trembling. "I just...I feel like what we're doing is wrong. It's not proper, you know? And what if someone finds out?" The words spilled out of her like a confession, each one heavy with the weight of her own doubts and insecurities. She looked up at Minjeong, her eyes searching for a glimmer of understanding, a reassurance that they were in this together.

Minjeong shook her head, her eyes burning with a fierce determination and affection. "I don't give a damn about any of that," she said, her voice raw with emotion. "All I care about is you. And as long as we're together, that's all that matters." The intensity of Minjeong's gaze, the strength of her conviction, sent a shiver of desire coursing through Jimin's body, as if they were the only two people in the world. It was a moment of pure intimacy, their bodies intertwined, their souls entwined in a bond that could not be broken.

As Minjeong's words washed over her, Jimin felt a rush of relief and gratitude surge through her, and without hesitation, she leaned in to capture Minjeong's lips in a soft, tender kiss. The night was theirs, and they would make the most of it, lost in the sweet ecstasy of their love for each other.

Minjeong's fingers threaded through Jimin's hair, a gentle touch that made her soul flutter. She tucked a few stray strands behind Jimin's ear, her touch as delicate as a butterfly's wing. "I love you," she whispered, her voice a tender caress that wrapped around Jimin like a warm embrace.

Jimin's heart swelled with emotion, the intensity of their connection almost overwhelming. She looked up at Minjeong, her eyes shining with love and adoration. "I love you too," she said softly, her fingers tracing lazy circles on Minjeong's chest. Her touch was light and teasing, a playful gesture that belied the depth of her passion. They lay there in silence for a few moments, simply basking in the glow of their mutual affection, the night stretching out before them like an endless promise of pleasure and intimacy.

Jimin stirred, roused from her slumber by the sweet sound of birdsong that filled the room. She blinked, her eyes slowly adjusting to the soft light that filtered through the window. As she shifted, she became aware of the warmth of another body beside her, and she turned to see Minjeong sleeping soundly, her chest rising and falling with each deep breath. Jimin couldn't help but smile at the sight of her, a wave of affection and contentment washing over her. She reached out to brush a stray strand of hair from Minjeong's face, her touch as gentle as a whisper.

As she watched Minjeong sleep, she felt a sense of peace and belonging settle over her, a feeling that had been absent from her life for far too long. For the first time in what felt like forever, she felt truly happy, her heart full of love and gratitude for the woman beside her. She snuggled closer to Minjeong, savoring the feel of their bodies pressed together, every inch of skin electrified by the warmth of their touch. The morning stretched out before them.

As Jimin rose from the bed, she felt a pleasant soreness in her limbs, a reminder of the passion that had consumed her the night before. Her mind immediately drifted back to the memory of Minjeong's touch, the way her body had responded to every caress and whisper. Jimin had never felt more alive, more in tune with her body and her desires. As she stretched, Jimin couldn't help but relive every moment of their intimate encounter, the way Minjeong had made her feel, the way she had explored every inch of her body with a hunger that matched her own. It had been a night of pure bliss, of unbridled passion and unspoken promises.

For Jimin, it had been a revelation, a moment of clarity that had shattered all her doubts and fears. She knew now that what she felt for Minjeong was real, powerful, and all-consuming. As she looked around the room, the memories of the night before still fresh in her mind, Jimin knew that nothing could ever match the intensity of the love she shared with Minjeong.

She ran her fingers lightly over the scars that crisscrossed Minjeong's back, tracing the ridges and bumps with a tender touch. Jimin couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness as she thought of the pain and suffering that had led to these scars, the memories that were etched so deeply into Minjeong's skin. She continued to trace the lines of the scars, Jimin felt a rush of emotion welling up inside her, a fierce protectiveness and a deep sense of love.

For a moment, they both lay there in silence, lost in their own thoughts and emotions. Then, without a word, Jimin leaned in and placed a soft kiss on the scars, as if to offer a healing balm to the wounds. She felt Minjeong's body tense and then relax beneath her touch, and she knew that in that moment, they were both healing each other, in their own way.

Jimin's voice trembled as she spoke, barely above a whisper, her eyes fixed on the scars that marred Minjeong's back. "Does it still hurt?" she asked softly, her fingers still tracing the lines of the scars.

Minjeong sighed, her body tense for a moment before relaxing again."Sometimes," she admitted, her voice low and filled with pain. "Sometimes it hurts so much that I can barely breathe. But it doesn't hurt anymore. Not when I'm with you."

Jimin smiled softly, leaning in to place a gentle kiss on Minjeong's lips. As they continued to kiss, Jimin couldn't help but run her fingers over the scars again and again. She wanted to heal them, to make them disappear, but she knew that was impossible.

"I'm sorry," Jimin whispered. "I'm sorry for all the pain you've had to endure," she whispered, her voice cracking with every word.

Minjeong's hand reached up to Jimin's face, her fingers gentle as they brushed away the tears. Her expression softened, a look of understanding and compassion in her eyes. "Don't be sorry," she said, her voice firm but gentle. "It's not your fault. You didn't choose to hurt me."

Jimin's heart pounded in her chest as she looked at the person she loved. She knew that what they were doing was wrong, that they were breaking every rule they were supposed to live by as a princess. She was supposed to uphold the honor and dignity of the kingdom, to marry a noble prince and bear his heirs, not to engage in a forbidden romance with a female knight like Minjeong.

Jimin felt a heavy weight in her chest as she realized that she might have to give up the person she loved for the sake of her duty as a princess. She couldn't bear the thought of losing Minjeong. It was a painful and impossible choice, and Jimin didn't know how to make it.

Minjeong, too, had her own duty as a knight, to serve and protect the kingdom with her strength and valor. They both knew that their actions went against everything they were supposed to stand for, yet the pull between them was too strong to resist. And yet here they were, engaging in a forbidden romance. Jimin knew that it could never be, that they could never be together like this again.

But Jimin couldn't help herself. Minjeong was everything she had ever wanted in a partner, fierce and loyal and brave. And with every stolen touch, every secret kiss, Jimin felt more alive than she ever had before. The weight of their forbidden love felt heavy on Jimin's shoulders. She was torn between her duty to the kingdom and her love for Minjeong. It was a painful and impossible choice. She knew that she could never marry Minjeong, but the thought of losing her forever was unbearable.

As Jimin looked at Minjeong's sleeping form, she felt a lump form in . She didn't want to leave her side, didn't want to let go of the person she loved with all her heart. With a heavy heart, she let out a sigh and turned to gather her clothes and belongings. She moved as quietly as she could, not wanting to wake Minjeong from her peaceful slumber. Each step felt like a stab in her heart, a reminder that this might be the last time she would be with Minjeong like this.

Jimin took one last look at Minjeong's sleepy form, memorizing every detail of her face and the way her hair fell across the pillow. She wanted to stay, to hold Minjeong tight and never let go, but she knew that she couldn't. Not now, not when so much was at stake.

Jimin's heart leapt in her chest as she felt a hand wrap around her wrist, pulling her back. She turned to face Minjeong, her eyes widening with surprise.

"Don't go," she whispered.

She felt her heart twist with conflicting emotions. She wanted nothing more than to stay with Minjeong, to forget about her duties and responsibilities and simply be with the person she loved. But she knew that she couldn't. Tears welled up in her eyes as she looked at Minjeong's face, her heart aching with the desire to be with her. She reached out to cup Minjeong's face in her hands, tracing the contours of her cheekbones with her thumbs.

"I have to," Jimin said softly, her voice barely above a whisper. "We both know that this can never happen again."

Minjeong's face crumpled with pain as she heard the words, tears streaming down her face. She reached out to grab Jimin's hand, holding it tightly in hers as if trying to keep her from leaving. "Please," She pleaded. "Stay with me, just a little longer. Please."

Jimin felt a lump form in as she looked at Minjeong's face, the person she loved more than anything in the world. She wanted nothing more than to stay. "I wish I could," Jimin said, her voice breaking with emotion. "But I can't. You know that. We both do."

"I know," Minjeong whispered, her voice barely above a whisper. "But just for one more moment, can we pretend that everything is okay?"

Jimin's heart felt like it was being ripped out of her chest as she looked into Minjeong's eyes, seeing the hurt and disappointment reflected back at her.

"We can't," Jimin said, her voice firm and resolute, a royal tone to her voice. Her voice sounded harsh even to her own ears.

Finally, Minjeong broke the silence, her voice trembling as she spoke. "Is this really it?" she asked, her eyes searching Jimin's face for any sign of hesitation. "Are we really going to let them tear us apart like this? I can't bear the thought of never being able to hold you again," she said, tears streaming down her face.

As Jimin turned to leave, Minjeong's hand shot out and grabbed her wrist, stopping her in her tracks. "Don't you dare walk away from me," she spat, her voice trembling with anger and hurt. "You can't just use me and then toss me aside like a toy when it suits you." The weight of their forbidden romance, the expectations of their duties, and the impending separation had been too much for Minjeong to bear. As the reality of the situation sunk in, her emotions boiled over and she snapped at Jimin.

"How could you do this to me, Jimin?" she spat, her voice laced with anger and hurt. "You knew from the beginning that this was never going to work. Why did you let us get this far?" The pain of feeling used and betrayed by someone she loved so deeply was overwhelming.

Minjeong's eyes flashed with anger as she looked at Jimin. "And what about you, huh?" she spat out. "You're just going to go back to your palace and marry some prince you don't even love, while I'm left here to suffer alone?" The pain of knowing that their love was doomed and that Jimin's duty as a princess would always come first was too much for Minjeong to bear. She shook her head, the tears now flowing freely down her cheeks. "This is all so unfair," she whispered, the weight of their situation crushing her spirit. "You have your royal duties to attend to, but what about my feelings? Do they not matter at all?" The hopelessness and despair of feeling like she had no say in her own fate left Minjeong feeling lost and alone.

As Minjeong's words echoed in the room, Jimin felt a surge of anger rise within her. She ripped her wrist from Minjeong's grasp and glared at her."How dare you accuse me of using you!" she screams out, her voice shaking with anger. "I never intended to hurt you, but you knew from the beginning what this was. We both did." Jimin's eyes blazed with fury as she spoke. "And don't you dare question my feelings," she snapped back. "I care for you more than you could ever know, but I have responsibilities that I can't just ignore. I can't just abandon my kingdom and my people for my own selfish desires." Jimin took a deep breath, her voice shaking with emotion. "I never led you on, Minjeong. I thought we had an understanding, but I see now that I was wrong." Jimin's eyes filled with tears as she spoke. "I'm sorry," she whispered. "I never wanted to hurt you."

Minjeong's eyes widened in disbelief as she listened to Jimin's words. "You never led me on? You thought we had an understanding?" Minjeong's voice rose in anger as she spoke. "You knew exactly what you were doing, Jimin. You made me believe that we could be together, that we had a chance. And now you want to act like you didn't do anything wrong?" Minjeong shook her head. "Don't you dare try to apologize now," she spat out. "You can't just use your responsibilities as an excuse to play with my feelings." Minjeong took a deep breath, trying to control her emotions. "I deserve better than this," she said firmly. "And I won't let you make me feel guilty for wanting more."

Jimin's jaw tightened as she listened to Minjeong's words. "You think I'm playing with your feelings?" she retorted, her voice dripping with anger. "Do you think I enjoy hurting you, Minjeong? Do you think it's easy for me to give up the one person I care about?" Jimin shook her head, her voice rising in frustration. "You have no idea what I'm going through," she said. "I'm torn between my heart and my duty, and it's tearing me apart." Jimin's eyes blazed with fury. She took a deep breath, trying to control her rising anger. "And you want to know why I can't be with you? It's because of Yoojin. That evil son of a  is blackmailing me into marriage, and if I don't go through with it, he'll destroy everything I've worked so hard for."

Jimin's voice cracked as she spoke, her anger now mixed with sadness and desperation. "He's threatened to kill you, Minjeong. He's threatened to kill you if I don't do what he wants." Jimin's eyes filled with tears as she spoke, the weight of her burden evident in her voice. "I've tried everything to get out of it, but he's always one step ahead of me. I don't know what to do anymore." Jimin's voice trailed off as she struggled to hold back a sob. "I'm sorry, Minjeong," she whispered. "I'm sorry for everything."

The shock was evident on Minjeong's face as she processed Jimin's words. She had never considered the possibility that there was someone else pulling the strings, someone who had the power to keep them apart. But their moment was short-lived as a loud banging on the chamber door startled them both.

"Open up, it's Yoojin!" a voice boomed from outside.

Jimin and Minjeong exchanged worried glances as they quickly dressed themselves. With hurried movements, they hastily dressed themselves, their fingers fumbling with the laces and buttons of their garments. Every second felt like an eternity as they both knew what the knight's arrival meant.

As soon as Jimin turns the lock, the heavy chamber door creaks open, and the sight that greets her is enough to make her heart stop. The evil knight loomed before her, his eyes scanning the room with a predatory glint. A wicked smirk twists his lips as his eyes settle on Minjeong's form, and Jimin can practically feel the venomous intent radiating from him. His twisted grin revealed his pleasure at catching the two women together

"Seducing and sleeping with another man's wife, Minjeong? How scandalous," he taunts, his voice laced with a sickeningly sweet edge. "And you, my dear, what a disappointment. I thought you had more sense than to let your desires cloud your judgment." He sneers, his tone full of disdain. "I hope you enjoyed your night of debauchery, because it's over now," he spits out, the words dripping with malice.

She felt sick to her stomach, both scared and repulsed by the fact that he knew about her and Minjeong's intimacy. "How did you find out?" Jimin asked, trying to keep her voice steady but failing. She could feel the knight's gaze on her, and she wanted to hide from him.

The knight let out a sick laugh. "Oh, don't worry about how I found out," he said, covering his ears and cackling. "Let's just say I have my ways of getting information." His eyes gleamed with a twisted satisfaction as he looked at the two of them, relishing in their discomfort.

"What do you want?" Jimin asked, trying to keep her voice steady despite the fear rising inside her.

"I've been ordered to bring you to the king," the knight replied.

Jimin's heart sank. She knew that her actions would not be well-received by her father. She had always been the obedient daughter, following the rules and traditions of their kingdom. But her love for Minjeong had clouded her judgement, leading her to take risks she never would have considered before.

"Can't you just give us a few more minutes?" Minjeong pleaded with a tinge of desperation in her voice, as she took a step forward to stand by Jimin's side.

However, the knight merely chuckled in response, as if the situation was nothing more than a game. "I don't think you understand the gravity of the situation," he said condescendingly, his hand resting on the hilt of his sword. "You're both in big trouble, and the King's orders are absolute. Even for his daughter.”

With a heavy heart, Jimin followed the knight out of the chamber, casting a final longing glance at Minjeong before the door closed behind her.
