Missing Words

Description

There are two types of people who suffer the most in this world: The ones who know too much and those who know nothing at all.

Ones that know too much refuses to accept the truth of this world. Even when it is right in front of them, they are reluctant to believe it. Those who know nothing at all dwell within their own misery, as they fight themselves in order to gain answers and knowledge regarding this world – just to regret it at the end.

It’s because of these reasons that some humans find it so difficult to smile. It’s because of these reasons that such story exist.

Within this story, some characters attempt to discover the truth, whilst others aim to hide it.

Which is right, and which is wrong?

Foreword

Resentment seemed to be provoking the ten-year-old boy, encouraging him to be bold and rude. He knew it would be wrong, but it felt even worse if he did nothing at all.

It was ironic. Since he was little, everyone told him that he must act a certain way in order to be ‘fair’ – in order to maintain a sense of ‘equality’. Yet he felt that life had cheated on him. He felt injustice from the adults.

“Jinki-shi, you can’t disturb your father. He’s in a meeting right now,” the secretary exclaimed whilst she chased after him. In return, he shot her a deathly glare before marching towards the meeting room.

The boy named Jinki pushed the double doors open, causing everyone to divert their gaze towards him.

“I’m sorry, sir. I couldn’t stop him.” The secretary bowed timidly.

“It’s ok. We were just finishing anyway,” the father said whilst staring at his son. The seniors all glanced at each other with uncertainly as they made their exit. Once the doors were shut, muttering began, causing Jinki to scoff discourteously.

The father exhaled deeply as he observed his son’s attitude.

“You must have forgotten your manners. They were all seniors in this company. They would be the ones to guide you in the future. Stop being so disrespectful!”

“Being pushed around in a situation like this...is even more disrespectful." The father shifted a little since he felt slightly uneasy. He could guess what was on his son's mind, but it wasn’t something he wanted to talk about with him. Hopelessly, he could only listen.

“I’ve tried,” Jinki continued. “I’ve tried to understand you. I could ignore the birth of Taemin. I even prepared myself for a step-mother. But why? Why must it be that women? If mother knew, she would never forgive you!”

“Stop it!” His father’s voice roared and Jinki could feel his own heart quiver in fear. “How could you possibly understand? You’re only a kid! And don’t ever use your mother to threaten me like that.”

“Mother...was ill because of her son. Won Geun...lost his eyes because of her son. If you marry her, how can we possibly face her? How would I face mum when I visit her grave?!” Sudden teardrops formed on the rim of his eyes, threatening to fall. The father’s eyebrows furrowed as he watched his son in misery and despair. However, no matter how hard he tried, Jinki wouldn’t understand, nor did he want him to understand his pain.

“I’ve already agreed to marry her. I know how hard it must be for you and your brother, but please forgive her son. He’s going to be your step-brother soon.”

“No. I won’t forgive him. I can’t forgive him! We...we are your sons. Me and Won Geun! Must you hurt us like this?!”

---

‘I’m sorry. I’m sorry towards both you and your brother. If only you knew...if only...these missing words could reach you one day.’

Author Note: So in the end, I've decided to just re-post the story. (For those who don't know...Missing Words ended up missing after the site was down. xD)

Hope people will continue to support this fic, and I'll hopefully repost the first chapter tomorrow (because I've only got the un-edited version)

Disclaimer: All characters are borrowed. I have no rights to anything but the writing itself. This is the work of FICTION. Therefore please don’t take it too seriously, because it’s only my imagination working in a different way compared to yours.

I gotta admit that its kinda a weird story, but I'll stick to it, coz I'm kinda curious where the romance will come...but to add to my last comment; when you finish the story, you could always just replace all the names of the people and/or places ;)

ParkMiyoung: Yeah, I know. But it's just the way I imagined the storyline. ^_^' And I easily give up the stories which are completely using fictional characters ^_^'

awww, poor sunyoung. </3 so she wasn't found by jae suk and won geun again? but at least onew found her. so that's why she became luna! XDD
errr, although i like onew to end up with her, i'll still have my vote on wongeun since it seems that luna is only seeing wongeun in onew. just my opinion though but still, anyone's fine with me. :)
update~
