Key to my heart

Yamamoto Sayomi, a shy Japanese girl who used to live in Korea was forced to move back to Japan to treat her mother’s illness.  When she resided in Korea she had a crush on a classmate named Kim Kibum, a rather popular guy at her school. Being of Japanese descent she was already an outsider in her class, but when she had tried to confess to him beside being  treated rudely she had also become the laughingstock of the entire school.

Now at the age of eighteen, her mother had passed away and Sayomi had transformed into a sassy girl with an attitude. She was wickedly selfish and would go to any extent to get her way. She didn’t befriend people easily and the only friend she had made in her life was the other outsider of her old school in Korea, Lee Jin-ho.  

Sayomi  decided to travel to Korea to spend the holidays with Jin-ho, but upon arriving she gets trapped in this hype about a boy-band named SHINee. When she finds out her ex-crush, Kibum, is one of the members of the band, she wants to know about them ...not because she’s still desperately in love with him, but purely to let everyone know what kind of person he really is.
