Wont let go
Description
I look at him and all I can think about is the day when I won't be able to anymore.
Foreword
“Why?” She cried.
They were both standing approximately 4 feet apart, as the rain fell hard on the two teenagers. She hoped so much that he couldn’t tell she was crying, hoping the rain was doing its job by covering her tears as they fell fast from her eyes.
But he wasn’t blind. It was clear to him that she was crying. Her big brown eyes were no longer bright and twinkling. They were red and puffy from crying. He could feel her pain by looking into her eyes, but that pain in her eyes was nothing compared to the pain in her heart.
“All I ever wanted was everything to be normal. I would never wish this upon anyone else but why me? A million people in the world and it had to be me! What did I do to deserve this?” She exclaimed as she clenched her shirt; where her heart is.
She broke down as she couldn’t take it anymore.
“I don’t understand why fate would let us meet … if there was no way we could ever be together” was her last words before silence fell upon them.
He kept his distance, not knowing if she wanted space but he slowly moved closer, taking small steps, waiting for her to tell him to back off, but before he knew it, he was standing right infront of her. He held onto her as she cried onto his shoulder.
He was hurting badly inside. He wanted to tell her everything would be alright. But he couldn't. He couldn't lie to her and tell her everything will be fine and it was clear to both himself and her that it wasn't.
He knew ...
She knew ...
That there was no such thing as forever.
