Hyukjae recognizes that song. Actually it's one of his favorite songs and it's really unfair that Jongwoon has a voice like that. How he manages to convey the emotions he wants through his voice, while having such a warm tone and looking like he does. It's just really unfair. But he doesn't want to stay standing like a creep outside the practice room any longer so he has to knock and let Jongwoon hyung know he's there. 
Y:Oh, Hyukjae-ah, you're here already. I was just doing a last run through of one of the songs for class. 
H:Ah, yes. I heard the last part of the song. You sing it really well.

Hyukjae can really only hope he's not blushing because his face feels flushed and Jongwoon is smiling so sweetly to him after saying thanks. 

It's when Jongwoon clears his throat after a couple minutes that he realizes they were looking at each other for longer than would be normal between a couple of new friends. And when he remembers to hand him what Kyu gave him, their fingers brush each other and Hyuk is back to day one of falling on him and feeling some type of pull towards him. But his heart truly stops and skips a beat when Yesung touches his cheek and says thank you for everything. Afterwards, Jongwoon takes a step back while taking a deep breath and clearing his throat. Y: It's getting a bit late. Would you like to eat dinner with me? 

Hyukjae hates how his mouth and brain don't cooperate after that. He really thought it was just in his mind but he asks  "Like a date?" and when he hears the response "Yes, but only if you want," he blushes again and nods.
