Chapter 3
School of the Performing ArtsYesung POV
Jongwoon was feeling stressed today. He woke up late and didn't make it to class on time. He even forgot to study for one of his music theory quizzes and he didn't have Wook or Kyuhyun in the period. But it seems someone up there was looking out for him. The professor cut the class short after eating some spoiled food and the quiz was postponed. He reaches out quickly to Ryeowook and see if he catches him during a free period.
Yesung
Wook, my class got cut short. Are you free right now?
Ryeowook
Hyungggg. That's great. Kyuhyun and I are in the cafeteria. You can finally meet Hyukjae hyung. Come quickly!!
As he's heading over there, Jongwoon isn't that good with new people but from the way his friends talk about Hyukjae, he thinks they should be able to get along. He can see the 3 guys in the distance but Hyukjae, he supposes, just has his head down. Maybe he's also a shy one. Jongwoon says hi to Kyuhyun and Ryeowook. But Hyukjae snaps his head up after hearing him speak and he freezes. Can time slow down when your heart starts racing? Jongwoon has never gone through this but Hyukjae also hasn't stopped looking at him and if not for Ryeowook calling him, he thinks he would have stayed staring at this cute guy with pretty features. And when Kyuhyun, the observant one, does notice something, he asks if they know each other and he figures he'll let Hyukjae answer. "We've bumped into each other before." The blush Hyukjae sports along with his pout is really adorable and it makes Jongwoon laugh wholeheartedly. This is turn causes Hyukjae to pout again and Jongwoon can't stop staring at his lips. Once he remembers he shouldn't be doing that, he glances back up to Hyukjae, and seeing his pupils dilated causes Jongwoon to feel hot all over the rest of the day. He can't remember how the rest of lunch goes but bless Kyu and Wook who practically force them to exchange numbers in case they aren't able to reach the both of them.
