When the mysterious yet talented Eunhyuk suddenly disappeared without any reason, the entertainment industry scrambled to understand what happened, and Lee Donghae was a pissed artist who suddenly lost the main production director to his 5th concert in the making.

2 years later, Donghae takes his fans by surprise as he joined the controversial variety show ‘We Got Married’, and everyone’s asking the main question—who’s this Lee Hyukjae and why does Donghae seem so in love with him?

While on the other hand, Lee Hyukjae regrets agreeing to his hyungs’ request to join the show, because who’d in their right mind would ever want to get married to someone who openly hates them, right?

Hello! Please take note that this story takes place in an alternate universe, so there’s no SUJU here, but all the members are doing exceptionally well in their own line of work! (Also the reason why I can tweak the ages to my wishes, haha!) This is also the AU where all orientations are accepted. It has been many years since I've written in English (so please pardon me) and as you can see, I simply love the cliche plots, hehe.

Chapter 4: A little peek behind the scenes at the puppet masters pulling the strings... I gather that, while he's keeping mysterious, Heechul is a benevolent force here. Because he has better insight on Ddohae than anyone, and his true feelings on Hyukkie.

Chapter 3: Haha, Kyu is so funny, the host who cringes at romance.

Okay, so Hyukjae is unrecognizable as Eunhyuk, at least beyond his eyes. You'd think Donghae would remember his frame, mannerisms/way of moving, and especially voice (unless he was mute before) if he had worked with him and had fallen for him... but maybe he tried to purposely forget? We can just suspend disbelief for the sake of the plot I guess. 😙 The fact that Donghae wants to believe it's him despite all the doubts, and doesn't want to let him go again, is pretty adorable though.

As understandably awkward as the situation is, (the entire show's premise atop Hyuk's hidden identity,) it would probably be best for him to reveal the truth to Donghae himself before something or someone else does, or Donghae figures it out and thinks this is some big cruel joke on him. Though it's possible that he'll be happy and probably easily forgiving either way, since he wants Hyukjae to be Eunhyuk.

Chapter 3: oh. Donghae isn't sure that Hyukjae is Eunhyuk. How...odd. Assuming Eunhyuk wore makeup, did Donghae never see him without it in all the time they worked together? Guess there'll be less drama since Donghae doesn't seem to have any resentment towards Eunhyuk for ghosting him after all.

Chapter 3: So, Donghae isn't sure that Hyukjae is Eunhyuk? Wasn't he told?
They were supposed to be having lunch in a cafe. (Please refer to the first sentence of this chapter.) How come it was Hyukjae who prepared the food and they washed the dishes? Just asking.

Chapter 2: Sounds like Eunhyuk might have had a sudden health issue if Heechul was hovering nearby to make sure he didn't get upset. As a celebrity, maybe they didn't want it to be made public so they made the decision for him to just disappear so he could recover without stress. Donghae would have been an innocent casualty, especially if they were working closely together and maybe even had feelings for each other back then. Being ghosted like that would have hurt Donghae a lot. Wouldn't be surprised if Donghae is buried under a pile of negative assumptions, since they didn't bother to tell him anything and just left him to deal with the aftermath.
