As far as I can remember, I used to be a person who never believed in love.
To me, love was just a lie.
I grew up with hatred and bitterness, I never got the love I needed.
I was abandoned, left alone, loveless.
And I would never do anything to make love fool me again.
But there is this one girl,
who really turns my world around.
Whenever I'm with her, I feel like a totally different person.
She made me feel like I was never alone in my life.
She has this beautiful smile that always makes my heart flutter.
She has this look in her eyes that make me even long for her.
And she has this beautiful voice that sends chills through my spines whenever she sings.
If there's something I could say about her,
well, she's the girl that truly took my breath away.

Hi.
Kwon Yuri is the name.
Being a 24 year old single, miserable, and a runaway woman is not that easy once you try being one.
I live alone in an abandoned apartment with my two annoying but loyal best friends, Choi Sooyoung and Kim Taeyeon.
When I was seventeen, my parents died in a plane crash leaving me alone by myself.
I refused to be left under the care of any of my relatives, since they never treated me nicely unlike my parents.
They tried putting me in a school wherein students are being disciplined. In other words; military school.
Of course I decided to run away, and then I met Sooyoung and Taeyeon who were also like me.
I gave up my whole life and future by becoming a gangster like them.
We live our life by taking part-time jobs, sometimes even pick-pocketing or entering boxing contests.
But we're certainly not criminals. We're just people who are in need of money in order to live.
I was never the bubbly, intelligent, and optimistic Yuri I was once before.
And then here comes this time when I saved this girl from killing herself...
