the most fitting name for a kpop group universe, of twisted daydreams meets fantasy. reverie is the daydream these nine boys have had for years - their ultimate goal, finally blooming into reality. but, the idol world is nothing short of a daydream. What is it like to be king for a day, when all the crowns are taken? .... become a villain, an underdog, the antihero.

Boys who've had their dreams squashed by reality one too many times; where others see a lost cause, jellyfish sees an opportunity. In a last-ditch effort to pull their company through, jellyfish decides to take a risk - their last risk - giving everything they can and more to chase after their last opportunity to break into the threshold of success. It's been years since jellyfish fell from company royalty, they used to be one of the greats, one of the legendary companies, although they crumbled down after vixx's disbandment. The company tried to maintain their hold with gugudan, which only ended in disbandment, and debuted their last group verivery in 2019. Even with verivery gaining publicity from road to kingdom, the group didn't flourish as jellyfish had hoped... instead, they're well on their way to the road of disbandment like their fellow labelmates. now, it's jellyfish's last chance to make something of themselves and break their curse, to get a group out there to hault the sinking of their ship. 

Their solution? Reverie. a boygroup of overlooked and overshadowed talent, some who have seen the flashing lights of the stage up close, and others who never got passed the company doors. They'll put everything they've got into reverie to make them popular, to give them an edge in the entertainment world that's overflowing with endless groups. reverie - a tale of dreams and nightmares, they'll be different, they'll be a story to be told for the ages. 

in a world of kpop heroes, everyone wants to be the next big thing, a superhero for the world, the main character, the good guy. but with good guy domination, not everyone has that choice. sometimes there isn't room for another hero and instead, we have to be the villains. with the light darkened by an evil entity in the reverie verse, the boys are ready to be the villains, evil, and antiheroes of their own stories.
