Because I wasn’t when I was writing this 😭

I admit there were parts where I needed to stop since I was crying myself because it was too heavy! But I decided to push through with it since I wanted to explore if I can take on writing this kind of story.

I wanted something that is the polar opposite of ‘With Bated Breath’. Something with a shorter and simpler plot, but still with an unexpected twist. It got overly dramatic yet again, I’m really sorry! I’m sorry Sehunnie I promise this will be my saddest fic about you.

Originally, this was supposed to be a slice of life type of fic, with OC ruining her relationships with her family and friends because of her ambition to be a senior screenwriter. Her boyfriend then should have been a popular actor or model, with her using his connections to be on top. Her amnesia was supposed to help her reconnect with the people around her, and with Sehun’s character, still as her ex-husband helping her do so (but all healthy, of course, huhuhu).

But that would entail more characters, and I wanted this one to have less than 10 to keep it simpler. Maybe a plot for a longer fic? Let’s see.

The entire fic is inspired by and purely driven by EXO’s Universe. The coffee, the sadness, and message of the song. Similar to ‘With Bated Breath’, that song mostly played the entire time
