Pagtingin ko bumungad agad sakin ang text mula sa isang sikat na company na pinasahan ko ng resume nung nakaraang linggo.

Good Day! Ms. Kang. This is Kim Yerim head manager of HR Department From I & Bae Construction Corporation. I would like you to invite today Monday at 11 o'clock in the morning for an interview. Please bring valid ID and send your full name for confirmation of your attendance. Thank you! =)

Finally meron nang nagtext sakin =D

ilang buwan na rin kasi ang nakakalipas nung may nag invite sakin para interviewhin.

Agad akong nagreply sa text at dahil nga ito na ulit ang chance ko para magkawork ay nagmadali akong puntahan ang future company na papasukan ko.

Sure akong matatanggap ako this time... Gagawin ko lahat mahire lang ako

Pagdating ko binigyan agad ako ng numero 23. Idinikit ko na to sa aking tiyan at komportableng naupo katabi ng mga kabadong applicants.

Huuuuu fighting! Kaya ko toh!!! Kinakabahan kong sigaw sa utak ko

"Applicant numbers 021, 022, and 023 please get ready."

At ilang oras lamang ay tinawag na ang numero ko

"ok next... 021, 022, and 023 please Come in."

Kabado akong pumasok at naupo sa isa sa mga upuang nakaharap sa mga interviewer.

"let's start with Applicant No.021. Tell us about yourself."

"Good Morning everyone. I'm Kim Seola from the island of Jeju, and I graduated with honors from some of this country's most esteemed universities. In addition, at the age of 25, I earned a master's degree in BSBA in Financial Management from Harvard University. Despite having completed my internship in America, I am still lacking in many areas, most notably my own experience. I am currently searching for a job that will allow me to pursue my passions. And I think I'm best when I'm in the best company."

Grabe ang galing at talino niya samantalang ako heto buhay pa rin naman...

Maraming follow up questions ang mga interviewer kay Miss Kim at base sa pagkakangiti ng mga ito sakanya ay sigurado akong tanggap na ito.

mabilis lang natapos si Applicant no. 22 kaya di ko namalayan na ako na pala ang tinatanong.

"Ok next Applicant No. 023."

nagulat ako ng tawagin nang interviewer ang no. ko kaya natataranta akong napatayo at nag bowing down 45°

"Ok sit down. Ms. Kang I only have one question here for you and I want you to answer this question with honestly."

kinabahan ako ng bongga ng sabihin yon ng interviewer ano kaya ang itatanong sakin hindi ko mapigilang mag-isip

"Why would you want to work for this company?."

"Sir, To be honest, I don't know why I'm here in the first place. This company is known as the best construction company in our country and I graduated in Culinary Arts, which is very far from this field, and I also don't know why I was given a chance to get interviewed here. By any chance, sir, are you looking for a cook for this company?."

"Haha, no Miss Kang, we are looking for a talented, smart and young people like you."

bat nga ba ulit ako nagpasa ng resume sa isang construction company kung graduate naman ako ng culinary arts?

OMG!!! NAKALIMUTAN KONG GRADUATE NGA DIN PALA AKO NG BUSINESS MANAGEMENT WITH CAM LAUDE :/ at nakalimutan ko rin ilagay yon sa resume ko...

"Sir, Ahmmm... To be honest, there are a lot of companies that I applied to that were related to my chosen field, but they all rejected me because I'm a newbie and have no experience. The moment I gave my last resume to this company, I gave up any hope I had of getting a job here. Yeah, sir, I lost confidence, but that was me before. But now I'm confident. As you can see from my resume, I've never accomplished anything aside from being a graduated person. I didn't have any experience. My resume is as clean as purified water. There's nothing interesting about it, and I've never been in a job where I could make my skills better. To answer your question, "Why do I want to work here?" is simple. I want to work here because I need work. To be precise, I want a job that will allow me to enhance my skills and gain a lot of knowledge about work. And I don't really care if it's far from the course I have. All I want is work and, of course, a paycheck."
