Jeongyeon turns to her side and runs her hands on the other side of the bed, where her wife of three years should be. She opens her eyes when her hand only felt the cold, undone sheets - a sign that her wife had already gotten out of bed before her.

Jeongyeon groggily sits up and rubs her eyes. She reaches for her specs and puts them on. 9:34, the digital clock on their bedside table read.

Jeongyeon panics a bit, worrying that her wife might have been up longer than she thinks but the wafting scent of coffee and pancakes tell her that the wife has only been awake for less than thirty minutes or so. She calms and makes the bed before coming out of the room.

It's Sunday, which was the same (and only) day Jeongyeon and her wife were off from work.

Sundays are either a date day or chore day for them. But there are times that they have been swamped with work that their house seemed like there was nobody home almost all the time.

That was the situation for the past few weeks. Jeongyeon and Mina staying overtime at work, their Sundays for the past weeks were also been consumed by take-home documents they both needed to review.

But the house, today was the Sunday the couple could finally relax after the tiring past weeks. Jeongyeon's missing having quality time with her wife. She will surely take Mina out on a date.

"Smells good," Jeongyeon comments tentatively, testing the waters, just loud enough for her wife to hear her. Jeongy
