Hyukjae has developed a simulation in which he has trapped Donghae’s essence. This is why we get to see Donghae entering a place and Hyukjae shutting the door with an anguished expression. Hyukjae observes and admires his beloved from his sparkling tool and it shows clearly in the fluttering lights Donghae notices when behind him there’s the painting. (It is like keeping an eye on someone from a magic ball, making it cuter and sparkling ✨ hahahaha~) Obviously, they can’t be together and this brings unhappiness to both. Donghae is in love with his creator and finding himself alone In that foreign place he tries to reach out to him, but Hyukjae limits himself to protect and take care of his beloved creation from where he is, aware that one day they will reunite when his essence will get uploaded as well.
