“The mugwort milk is pretty good!” Jihye exclaimed after having a taste of her beverage. There was that interesting combination of familiar earthy tones of mugwort and a creamy taste of milk that made the beverage – a combination that Jihye never tasted before.   “The cake is surprisingly rich.” Jungwoo took a sip of her tea, cleaning her palate with the warm citrus beverage. As much as she enjoyed the interesting invention that is a mugwort-flavored cake, the dessert was still a bit sweet for her palate. On other days, she rarely consumes sweets other than Greek yogurt in the first place, which was probably why she had reservations when they were meeting up at a dessert café.   The distaste was probably evident in her expression that Jihye was immediately remorseful as she was the one who picked the place. “So it’s too rich for you…”   “Just a little. It’s been a while since I’ve had a sweet dessert, let alone in a fancy place like this,” Jungwoo explained honestly. She couldn’t even remember the last time she had a proper ‘date’ like this; the usual meetings were either very formal in an office, or very personal in her date’s place, but none in between.   “Is that so…”   For Jihye, it was a long and thoughtful consideration whether to pick a restaurant or a café for their first ‘date’, because, above all, she wanted to paint a good impression. From their first meeting at J Black’s party, she realized that Monika didn’t recognize her at all, even when she came to the party as a fellow dancer. That meant that she had another shot of making a good impression in person, and she couldn’t fail this time.   The area to pick was pretty obvious; it had to be Hongdae, where she saw the older woman for the first one. With the area narrowed down, eventually, Jihye decided on a designer café, since the entire place reminded her of Monika. Not just the interior aesthetics, but also the ingredient-forward menu that only uses natural and traditional components in the cakes, tarts, and beverages. Unfortunately, although she’d known that the older woman was very health-conscious, she forgot one important detail: she doesn’t eat sweets often. Even for desserts that Jihye thought wasn’t very sweet, it’s still rich for Monika’s palate.   “Don’t fret, no:ze-ya. Give me some time and I’ll get used to the taste by the end of the day.”   The consolation was enough for Jihye to take a scoop at her strawberry tart, offering Jungwoo to taste the lemon one since it might be more suitable for her taste.   “Ssaem, do you teach classes in your studio?” Jihye mustered up the courage to ask, steering the conversation into something more familiar to both of them.   “Not as often now that I have enough teachers under me to take over. I mostly do the business part – checking the administrative work, attending meetings, and creating choreography.”   “Wow…”   “How about you? Do you still teach these days?”   “Not as often as I would like…” Jihye confessed, putting down her fork. “I still make time for my crew but other than that… not so much.”   “WayB, is it?”   She knows my crew! Jihye thought, nodding enthusiastically at the recognition. “Yes. The three of us formed WayB because we have similar interests in dancing. Before WayB was formed, we met often in dance clubs; in a room full of men, it’s easy for girls to form friendships quickly.”   “I know that feeling. It just made you want to work harder, right? To show the boys that you’re on par with them, if not better?”   “Yes! Exactly!” Jihye agreed animatedly before quickly composing herself, “Oh, sorry, I got too excited.”   The sight of no:ze composing herself was endearing to Jungwoo, knowing exactly that the younger woman was trying to be well-mannered in front of someone with a higher level of seniority like herself. “How old are you?”   “Eh? Suddenly?”   “Just wondering. It’s okay if you’re reluctant to say it to me.”   Jungwoo paid attention to the hesitation painted on no:ze’s expression, slightly smirking when she mumbled twenty-six. Cute. “Why are you so shy? Isn’t it nice to be young?”   “Well…” Aside from Monika’s high seniority level in dancing, Jihye knew there’s an between them, which might hinder her to present herself as an equal, soulmate-wise. She didn’t want Monika to see her as a youngster and instead, a mature adult who happened to be ten years younger.   “Being young is good, no:ze-ya. I’ve seen your dance videos; you have a lot of potential to be big.”   “Do you really think so?”   Jungwoo tilted her head inquisitively. “Well, can you imagine doing anything else in your life other than dancing? To not spend your days dancing until your body can’t take it anymore?”   In a flash, Jihye reminisced her younger days, long before she had the ambition to be on par with Monika, when she begged her parents to pursue dancing, when she spent almost four hours every day commuting to her art school, before spending whatever time she had after fulfilling her school responsibilities by dancing to idols performing on TV. Even if she didn’t meet Monika that day in Hongdae, she couldn’t imagine doing anything else with her life. Meeting the older woman’s eyes, she answered resolutely, “No.”   “Then the world is your oyster,” Jungw
