2020 Jimin had just performed blood, sweat and tears song with bts. He was going to perform his solo serendipity now. But he was absorbed into a beam of light( to prevent spoilers I'm not hoing to explain this completely) 

2013 Jimin after the beam of light that flashed in front of him he got absorbed into it but he didn't arrive in 2020 immediately unlike 2020's Jimin. During that time let's just say that he was in a void.

The reason it's like this is because I have some ideas (not so good tho😅) for bts' pov about how 2020 Jimin gors missing and bla bla bla... you know
