Chapter 02: An Exhausting Event

"Dubs!" Moonbyul came out of nowhere.

 

"What the-" Dahyun was startled.

 

Dahyun took a deep breath before-

 

"What the hell are you thinking about before startling me all of a sudden???" This made her best friend chuckle.

 

"Vro are you high?" Dahyun asked another question.

 

"The hell? Of course not! I'm just going to ask you about how are the preparations going..." Moonbyul trailed off.

 

Of course, the other found it quite suspicious.

 

"Look, is this about Yong-sun again? Because if yes, I don't know what she's been doing for the past week, ok?" Dahyun stated.

 

"B-But I thought you guys were neighbors" Dahyun chuckled at her best friend.

 

'Whipped' Is the perfect word to describe Byul-Yi.

 

"Look, Byul, even though we're neighbors, it'd be too creepy if I will look at every single move she makes, it would pretty much seem like I'm a goddamn freak who doesn't know anything about privacy" Moonbyul frowned at what Dahyun had said.

 

"And besides, you can just come over next time and ask her yourself" Dahyun shrugged and left Moonbyul.

 

"Damn...Why haven't I thought of that before?" She asked herself.

 

"But...I mean- I don't really dare to do so..." Moonbyul trailed off.

 

"Aish- I shouldn't think about that...for now, I guess"

"Still, it'd be better if you call me just Mina when no one's around"

 

"All right just Mina, I'll see you later just Mina" Dahyun teased and laughed afterward before walking away.

 

"Aish, that kid" Mina rolled her eyes playfully.
